There are no official winners in a showcase battle, sometimes they let the crowd judge but that's about it.

John Hanks dude despites of dancing really good here hong 10 crashes a lot, check the red bull bc one 2013 where he won, for me thats the best performance from him, danced very clean.

I think he was good from 04-07 in his earlier years. He was also one of the only BBoys in BC One to sweep 3 out of the 4 match in 06 cause he only had one vote against him versus Roxrite. I like his new style but kind of miss the old him. He did kill it in 2013.
Angeliny di pillo Although this is one of my favorite videos of Hong 10, he crashes a lot here as well. For example, at 5:09, or at 2:25 where he crashes the halos. However, he was definitely a new beast at bc one 2013.

lots of guys saying pocket sucks, well guys you are partly right at least. Pocket belongs to a crew which place more emphasis on teamwork to fill gaps and Pocket does his part in airflares and super natural amounts of power moves. Hong 10 is a veteran who does sets on his own. Two very different bboys with different styles can't compare them but this was a fantastic battle

Pocket has the same few sets he does every time. He has so little flavor. I know this is an unpopular opinion and no one can touch Pocket’s athleticism in his power, but he just isn’t a great dancer (his tops are so awkward, zero footwork). He’s incredible at what he does (I say this with no disrespect), but as a BBoy... not even close to Hong 10’s level

You could see that Pocket respected Hong alot
people talking shit have no idea how hard the power moves are. Some of the moves he does nobody else can do it in the whole world like him. And he knows his weakness is being short and doing top rock and footwork being almost a legal midget he knew it wouldnt look good on him. So he decided to just master power moves and be the best at it.
It was his stradegy and prob why hes the best power mover in the world.
On the other hand...Hong 10 is PURE bboy w extreme amounts of experience and went to the finals of red bull the most and won the red bull cup the most and won the most events in the world. In 1 word He was #1 in almost every part of bboy for 10+ years. Now hes going on his 20+ uears and is 35 yrs old and he stilll rocking and doing good w the red bull all stars...

Both are amazing B-Boys who do their own thing but in my opinion, Hong 10 won this.
I'm an oldschool B-Boy and when it comes to checking out others I always aim for the musicality, originality, style and last but not least: Foundations. Hong 10 has it all and this performance surprised me. A lot of great moves.
I don't really accept powermovers as B-Boys though. Powermoves is something that anyone can learn and you have to try really hard to make them look nice. At this point, Pocket takes major points because his powermoves stand out.
But since this is a battle, it's like a communication between 2 people. One gives talks through his moves and other replies.
In the first round Hong 10 replied to Pocket but in the second, Pocket failed to reply to Hong.
If you're a B-Boy and reading this, please make sure to get some proper toprocks and footworks down because it gets really boring when you just go into a circle and start doing powermoves. Or if you don't want to learn them, just go to a powermove battle instead. Keep it fresh y'all!

Unfortunately Pocket is really short and stocky so footwork would look fucking stupid with his physique. But yes Style>Power any day of the week but nobody can do power like pocket hes the power king.

RedBull BC One is the fakest battle there is. It's not even real. B-Boys who should've advanced to the next round always get dropped. Some of my mates competed there and told the same thing.

I personally think Hong 10 won that, but that's purely because he had variety, Pocket's strength, and power is absolutely incredible, his form is always perfect, and it seems he's really humble as well when he shook Hong 10's hand he bowed as well, which is nice to see, even though they're battling, they still respect eachother. :)
