This was so fun! I am in a better mood from watching this, so thank you. It's interesting to see Ludovic's perspective on things and I like how often he gets Chris to go on water rides. 😂
Ludovic teaching Chris how to say ‘impossible’ in French was giving me major Joey Tribbiani and Phoebe Buffay vibes. 😂😂 This whole video was so much fun!
It's pretty cool how close you and Ludovic got since meeting for the first time, to the point where you guys can rib each other is priceless, cheers Chris!
This video and the Disneyland video were so much fun. Petition to just start a series bringing DLP cast members and show them around our theme parks to get their reactions. 😁
I don't ride roller coasters but I love watching other people enjoy them! I'm glad Ludovic had a great time, good job Chris! Watching how the game really went was the best! 😆
Same. I can't ride roller coasters anymore due to neck issues. I sucks too becuase I live in Santa Clarita. I can still go to places like Disneyland and Knotts but not the one in my backyard.
It's so neat to see these videos with Ludovig seeing these parks for the first time. They're so much fun and don't be sorry for having fun with the basketball improv game at the end! You guys made some great memories and you make things magical for others so thank you! You all deserve pats on the back!
So good to see the Handsome Ludovic again .He really seems charming ,and to be really enjoying the rides and attractions .Chris ,it is so nice, kind ,and generous to be his friend and host .The wooden rollercoaster looked fun. The drop one looks terrifying .I went on a ride at a county fair, and was terrified, and afterwards had some trouble walking. The food looked delicious ,I love fried chicken, and I love Pie.
This brings back a lot of memories. I remember the Knott's Beary ride. Kingdom of the Dinosaurs was ok, but I really liked the original ride. Glad to see they've brought it back... kind of.
My dad worked a gov job so we were fortunate enough to go every year during Christmas when they let him and my mom in for free and everyone after that was $15! It’s now a yearly tradition and I’m so grateful to knotts for giving me a wonderful childhood vacation I could look forward to since we weren’t to well off. Everything in this video is so nostalgic and i can’t wait to go back again this year!
What a completely charming video. “How the Game Actually Went” was fabulous! He’s having the trip of a lifetime with one of the best tour guides he could have. 💙💚
Chris glad that you were able to show ludovic knott's. Did you ever go back to Disney. Enjoy seeing the joy that you all had. Chris you are fantastic 👏
I grew up at Knott’s thanks for the magnificent adventure and I glad every had fun but most of all the basketball game was the hit of the day now with that being said peace ☮️ love and happiness to you Chris and I’ll see you on the next awesome Provost Park Pass video peace ☮️ out ✌️
Wanting to go back and play at the basketball court is something I would have never thought about. So many things that we think are just small and not that big of a deal and normal are actually things that are very unique to people who live in other countries. I have enjoyed watching these videos. It gives me a different view of things. Things that we think are normal here are really unique to the United States. It’s actually very interesting and fun to see this through his eyes.
Walt Disneys name is Walter also. So it’s Walter and Walter 👍🏻 Dang I haven’t been to Knott’s since 8th grade. So it’s been like 15 years 😱 Thanks for the video! I feel like I’d be ok with going again. Usually my older sister would take me but she was there when a guy jumped off Supreme Scream. She’s scarred for life and hasn’t been back since. I’ll have to see if someone else wants to go with me.
Knott's is freakishly underrated. As a lifelong LA, CA resident I would place it at 1. for families because it's fun and economical, and has something for everyone. 2. 6 Flags Magic Mountain, suited more for teenagers and adults looking for fast, intense rides, 3. Disneyland, 4. Universal Studios.
Thanks for another wonderful video with Ludovic. :) It is so fun to see his reaction and perspective toward things. What a fun ending to the video! It was great seeing you guys having fun at the hotel. My husband and I were both laughing. 😁
Walt Disney and Walter Knott were good friends. And Walt learned a LOT from Walter. Same first names, two very different experiences that they created, two very amazing people.
July 11, 1969 John Wayne and son first to ride Timber Mountain Log Ride. Walt Disney and Walter Knott were very good friends, he had chicken at Knotts a couple time's a week. Walt often ordered chicken brought over from Knotts for construction workers
I don't know if Ludovic(sp?) has time enough for this, but if you have the chance, and it's not scorching hot, you should take him to Calico Ghost Town. Sincce he enjoyed the Knott's Ghost Town so much, he might enjoy visiting a real ghost town and one that was once owned by Knott's, or was it Disney, and I believe was, in part, the inspiration for the Knott's Ghost Town.
If you search for Walt Disney and Calico mine train, You will see articles where he was a little mad and at the same time excited. Here is one paragraph from the article. In 1960, the Buena Park amusement park debuted its first “E-ticket” attraction, the Calico Mine Ride. Disney adored creator Wendell “Bud” Hurlbut’s work and exclaimed to him, “You sneaky S.O.B.!” when he realized the actual queue for the ride was obscured by the façade of the mountain, not only making the line look shorter, but also, for the first time, making the waiting experience part of the attraction. Disney soon incorporated this concept into future rides at Disneyland and started visiting Knott’s Berry Farm more frequently-taking Bud to lunch and brainstorming new ideas with him. (Anyways it looks like Walt Disney was displeased and impressed at the queue line of the calico mine ride.)
Crazy stuff, watching this video. Went to Knott's and Disneyland, basically alternating as a kid. Now that we're 100+ miles away, we do Disneyland with the family and haven't done Knott's. It's very interesting to see some of the attractions from when I was a kid are still there. Your description of Berry Tales was dead on per my memory as a kid. One of my first "big kid rides" that I did with my cousin. It was magical (late 1970's / early 1980's). I believe the last time I was there was 1987. (We've been to the Chicken house as adults, but I haven't been back into the park since I was a kid. It was a *trip* to read in a couple Disneyland books how Walt visited there many times to get ideas for Disneyland.
It too bad you didn’t get to stay the day so that Ludovic could do it all. Always good to see you here. Next time he returns let get some gold. 😂 sounds like he had a blast, maybe we turned another Disney fan 🤣
My kids recognized you the other day when we walked out of Disneyland after park closing. Even recognized ludovick! We were gonna say high but we were to embarrassed lol.
We love you, Amanda and miles and you’re all amazing and special. Truly!!! Ps. This is such a fun video and you’re a fantastic tour guide. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I’m glad he’s seeing Knotts thru your eyes :)
Hi Chris, the solution to ring puzzle, is to pull back the ring on the chord, till it’s at the same hight as the hook, with the rope tight. Then just let go. The ring will swing to the same hight as the hook and whilst it can miss, it most of the time latch on the hook. I did the one in Universal city walk back in spring break and seeing a big crowd doing it and a person lecturing the people on how it’s done. I just walked up and lined up the ring let go and walked away saying this is how you do it. I did pop by earlier to a similar crowd and did that again as its such a fantastic and fun puzzle, which is great fun to play
This was so fun to watch Ludovic's reaction to everything. Love your positive attitude as well, Chris. I have so much I need to get done today, but it was more fun sitting here watching this! :) And Casey Jr IS better in Paris!
I love your videos... you have the best life and spirt! I love that you always take a moment to breed positivity. Sometimes I'm feeling down and perfectly thats when you shout out I'm amazing and it makes me giddy! Proud Disney Adult here love your work thank you
I love this series! I hope we get more! The toe curl helped on drop ride. Chris still has his shoes 😀 I have never seen so many missed shots. Seems like the good ones were edited out 😆
I was going to knots berry farm and I was so excited that my friends were going too. So I was going to do some planning cause I found out that I was going during the boyisin festival. I had not been to knotts berry farm in a long time so I watched all your videos every day about knots berry farm I watched this video 15 times and your full tours and when that day came I was so happy. But I went in march and it was April I said I miss planning so I will watch this video a lot. Thanks provost park pass you are the best RUclipsr ever we all enjoy your videos and all love you
Awesome video truly. I saw you there that day and I didn’t want to interrupt you all during filming. Also they have basketball games there 😊 Also Timber Mountain Log Ride opened in 1969 FYI.
when playing the water game, bounce the ping pong ball on the floor, it will bounce in the water. You will have much better chance of winning!!. I worked at Lagoon in games .
I'm so old I remember when Knott's didn't have any thrill rides. By the time we Ieft, they had two coasters, both pretty good, but too short. I did the gold panning thing, and kept the gold flakes for years, until they got lost. ☹Knotts was easy. Make two right turns, and go down Beach Blvd until you got there in about 15 minutes after going through the end of Huntington Beach, and then Westminster. Westminster> HB>Westminster> Buena Park, iirc. Probably not, it's been over 40 years! We just missed Thunder River at Disneyland by months when we moved out.
Log Ride, not flume, opened in 1969, not 1958. I think your reference to Walt is when they built the Calico Mine train, which was built when he was alive, he used some the things they did and applied it to many attractions, including the Matterhorn……….Great research!!
WARNING THE LAST 6 MINUTES IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WATCH.
So cool you got John Stockton to be in the video! 😜
@@sjab5987 hahahahahaja yep happened to be at the right place at the right time. 🤣🤣💚💙
Hugs, you played, you had fun and you all won :0)
Were you guys really sore the next day?😂🤣😅
But for Larry Bird though xD
Back in the 1960s when I was a young tween there were dancing girls in the Calico Saloon which I found very interesting
This was so fun! I am in a better mood from watching this, so thank you. It's interesting to see Ludovic's perspective on things and I like how often he gets Chris to go on water rides. 😂
Over an hour of pure Provost joy. Love it ❤
Ludovic teaching Chris how to say ‘impossible’ in French was giving me major Joey Tribbiani and Phoebe Buffay vibes. 😂😂 This whole video was so much fun!
I’m loving this ! Love seeing Ludovic’s reactions to all the places you’re taking him .
Love your channel. I was born and raised in Anaheim . Now live in Little Rock , Arkansas.
Omg I was just watching a video from 2 years ago and guess who was in it LUDOVIC lol
God bless you Chris and your family
I really appreciate your uplifting kind words.
I was one of the people who worked at Ghostrider Goods that day and just wanted to say again that it was a pleasure getting to see you guys in-person!
Thank you. It was our pleasure to be there. 💚💙
It's pretty cool how close you and Ludovic got since meeting for the first time, to the point where you guys can rib each other is priceless, cheers Chris!
My gosh- I love Knott's. I am over 60 now and can still remember Knott's before I was five. Impressive. 10 out of 10.
I'm so glad some of the older stuff is still there.
Chris with Snoopy!!! So cute how he has to justify it by saying “you’re my son’s favorite”! 🤪
This video and the Disneyland video were so much fun. Petition to just start a series bringing DLP cast members and show them around our theme parks to get their reactions. 😁
Great to meet you in DCA yesterday, Chris! Love all the positive vibes and energy you continually give off! True class act 🤙🏼
So awesome of you Chris showing your friend around.
I know why Chris doesn't want to lose his shoes in that drop ride. It's because Sully would be lost being outside of a Disney park. Lol
Yay! Ludovig is back! He's so stinking handsome! I swoon!
It's so neat to see these videos with Ludovig seeing these parks for the first time. They're so much fun and don't be sorry for having fun with the basketball improv game at the end! You guys made some great memories and you make things magical for others so thank you! You all deserve pats on the back!
Here's how I would explain gravy: it's a roux mixed with meat juice :D
Excellent word choice. 💙💚
The banjo player breaking into Foggy Mountain Breakdown at 7:18 was 😍.
Nice to see another vlog with Ludovic! Watching now and can't wait to see his reaction to boysenberry!
Oh my!!!!!!! Sooooo cool!!!!!!!!!! Love Ludovic!! Such a great series and Adorable!!!
That was a lot of fun
Thanks Bob the welder
I absolutely love these episodes with your French buddy! Especially this one and the one you took him to Disneyland. 👍👍👍
You are so not a bad tour guide, you are excited, which makes you the best kind!

Love Knotts! And Snoopy and love how Walt got the queue idea from Knotts.
would love to visit there myself someday
You should it's "berry" fun!
The shops really are fun. It's like a theme park, craft fair and museum all in one.
I love Knott's. It's such a great place
I panned for gold in Aug 2022. I enjoyed this attraction. Great price for this activity and souvenier.
Lol the game was hilarious 😂 I was crying
I needed "Never Give Up!!!!!" Thank You!
Great Video!!! You captured the Knotts experience perfectly! I love Little Vic’s reactions to the rides and food.
🤣💚💙
I enjoyed the ludovig videos. Fun watching him experience our culture.
Ludovic is the best! So fun watching this!
This brings back a lot of memories. I remember the Knott's Beary ride. Kingdom of the Dinosaurs was ok, but I really liked the original ride. Glad to see they've brought it back... kind of.
The best way I try to describe gravy is: a cream sauce that is flavored with fat or butter, thickened with some flour.
Such a great video. Ludovic is hilarious! I love KBF and seeing it from his perspective was so cool. Thanks, Chris!
My dad worked a gov job so we were fortunate enough to go every year during Christmas when they let him and my mom in for free and everyone after that was $15! I loved flying aces at lagoon when I was a kid. I'm going to have to do the glider now
What a completely charming video. “How the Game Actually Went” was fabulous! He’s having the trip of a lifetime with one of the best tour guides he could have. 💙💚

Calico Mine Ride is a favorite. A must ride every time. Log Ride is second.
I hear you Chris, I love Knott's, and so many cool things to see

The last 5 minutes were golden 😂
Hey Chris, I’m gonna miss Ludovic I hope you guys can continue this amazing friendship and be in you’re videos. Such a fun amazing video!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I know it's one of Amanda's favorite places so hopefully they find the time.
You guys are making me soo hungry knotts berry chicken dinner is the bomb

It was so nice to meet you while I was there it was truly a gift

I still use Mason jars for drinks lol
I love Knott's - so many fun memories. And oh, that chicken dinner and pie! I'm drooling! Ummmm, the basketball? I think I could beat you all. lol
So when I started this video, “hooked on a feeling” was playing where I was, when you were on Ghostrider. It fit pretty well!😊
You aren't wrong about those last six minutes. But this video as a whole is a win.
I wouldn’t call those biscuits. They look more like dinner rolls.
I love Knott’s Berry Farm! It’s really great knowing it’s historical backstory.
I love this series! I hope we get more!
The toe curl helped on drop ride. Chris still has his shoes 😀 I have never seen so many missed shots. Seems like the good ones were edited out 😆
Man I would love to see Chris on Soarin Eagle at Dollywood that is a ride.. the coasters at Knots remind me of the ones they have at Dollywood.
Carson Hill Nugget would be worth right now approx $3.8mil
Hi Chris. Love your message. Question, which bus would I take to get from Disney to Knotts?
I was going to knots berry farm and I was so excited that my friends were going too. So I was going to do some planning cause I found out that I was going during the boyisin festival. One for the good ol NBA JAM... Aiiiiiir baaaaaall. Heh looked like you guys had a blast!
I kinda want you to bring people from different countries to the different countries in Epcot. I would love that so much. No one has done this yet.
Quote of the day: “it’s like Tron, but not as good”! 😎
When playing the ping pong game, try bouncing on the ground and it will bounce into the pool, much better change of winning!!
Awesome video truly. I saw you there that day and I didn’t want to interrupt you all during filming. Also they have basketball games there 😊 Also Timber Mountain Log Ride opened in 1969 FYI.
YAAAAAAAAA KNOTT’s 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
1:05:20 Chris with the ol tricks hahaha
when playing the water game, bounce the ping pong ball on the floor, it will bounce in the water. You will have much better chance of winning!!. I worked at Lagoon in games .
Someone should count how many times he says his name and compile them all together 🤣
I'm so old I remember when Knott's didn't have any thrill rides. By the time we Ieft, they had two coasters, both pretty good, but too short. The log flume and Calico Train were definitely there. The log flume was pretty fun.
I still have the gold I got there when I was a kid. But I'm only 50 now so it's not that old. 😁
Log Ride, not flume, opened in 1969, not 1958. I think your reference to Walt is when they built the Calico Mine train, which was built when he was alive, he used some the things they did and applied it to many attractions, including the Matterhorn……….Great research!!
This is still my overall favorite park in CA. Sorry Disney...Great stuff Chris!
Can't believe you skipped out on taking him on the stagecoach! The stagecoach is pure old west Americana!
Thank you for spelling his name. My husband kept saying Little Vick!
Jj sabotage. Great to see you showing someone another cool park. 😊
I need a shirt that says, “I just got nervous”.🤣
Silver bullet is so much smoother than Ghost rider.
Were there no sneeze guards over the buffet food?
