Nick, really nice job with facilitating discussion and asking questions on behalf of us as home detailers. It’s very helpful and makes the video more enjoyable 👍
Do the engine !!! Fall and Spring deep cleaning. I love a full cleaning, engine first, then undercarriage to the wheels and tires. Lots of garbage gets collected under there. Taking a older vehicle to a place to do some maintenance outside of your normal spot you hear the comments when they pop the hood and from someone down in the pit "WoW, Unbelievable, super clean" and the "What Year is this?" comments are said as the others in the shop come over to look. "This is original Paint?" You know you did it right when they get out the new blue towels to wipe down what they touched after they are done. This is what that DIY guy wants.
You 2 are like poetry in motion. The ying and yang to eachother. It’s almost like Nick can read my mind…I think of a question and poof, Nick asks it and Yvan answers it!! Yes to an engine wash. Does the DIY lineup have anything that can dress the engine which is self leveling?
I found it beneficial to drive the tires up on scrap pieces of 2x6 wood blocks with a 45 degree bevel edge to where the tires outside edge overhangs a little so I get full exposure for cleaning and dressing the rubber
Yes to engine wash! I didn’t know Incredible Suds then Rinseless was novel! I like doing this myself with my maintenance washes. I enjoy the FOAM too much to Rinseless, rinse, Rinseless😂. Great video.
Hybrid wash is my weekly ritual to wash my cars - Saturday morning. Every 3 to 4 weeks, do the clay towel treatment (just with rinseless, no iron remover). And every 3 to 4 months, instead of using a pH neutral/balanced shampoo, use an alkaline shampoo on my foam canon followed by iron remover treatment with clay towel. All my cars (the newest is 1 year old and the oldest is 16 years old) look spanking new.
9:09 Thanks for mentioning about the second pass with the rinseless sponge. I find I have to do that to you if I haven't washed my car in a while. And we would love to see the engine bay wash!
unless the car is muddy, I literally spray on rinseless liberally, and go in with the sponge. sometimes I just wonder how the hell does it even work. Foam cannons, and exseccive use of water to wash the car is illegal where Im at, so dont judge me too much. and thanks for an awesome products and vids
I hate waterspots so much! 😡😡 unfortunately I have to park my car outside and it seems they reappear every couple months. I’m very interested on the polishing process with those vinyl stripes
Question: I have used this method several times. Works great. Sometimes I can't get rid of the contamination with my PSDT even if I do many passes with no pressure. Any ideas for what I should do? Tar remover? Clay bar (God forbid😅)?
Great video! Where did you guys get that platform from? I have been looking for one just like that. Washing my Durango on a ladder sucks.... This would be perfect! And, over the last 3-4 months, I converted to all DIY stuff. Converted from an Ethos user. Everything truly does work excellent!
On white paint i have to grind just because of the brown stubborn spots thats just doesn’t come off with just rubbing. I let the iron remover sit for awhile and sometimes it works and when its really hard to get of i grind
Definitely would like to see the engine detail. I like to spray with an APC, the. foam and rinse mine every few washes which keeps it pretty clean, good enough for sure! 2nd…where do you get the clear bucket for rinseless?
I was thinking about your system and tar. As you don’t do a dedicated tar remover assumed the clay towel was picking up the small tar deposits. Will the clay towel need special measures with tar?
Even after applying Apc with I.S to the paint and letting it sit and decontaminating the paint when you started rinsing the looked like it was still beading! I’m not convinced your apc is strong enough to do a heavy decon . Btw i love your products but thats just my professional analysis
Will you be ceramic coating the tonneau cover also? I recently did a clients Truck and I asked him if he wanted the ceramic coating on the cover also. Thankfully he said no, as I didn't really have an reasonable response if he said yes.
Girls in bikinis making a pass with signs naming the product would enhance the experience. But you're throwing down the knowledge, and that's what's important. I learn a lot and your chemistry, the banter between the boys, works well. Only problem is I want some of your products but can't justify getting it cause I only have two cars to work on and use only small amounts of chemicals each wash. Mahalo nui loa guys.
Not until we can make one that actually does something, the ones we have tested are more placebo than performing. If you need to remove minerals DIY Detail Water Spot Remover is the most effective and efficient solution.
Does that platform adjust for height? I'm guessing its a HD "gorilla" platform? I bought a HF platform, and unfortunately, it's not high enough for me to reach the middle of the roof or hood on my pick-up.
When Yvan was doing the mineral cleansing step, did he use a rinseless dampened towel or dry towel to spread the water spot remover? Are there any scratch risk not flipping the towel?
All Clean used to foam very well on its own. Why change the formula to make it foam less? Why does it have to have incredible Suds added? Doesn't make any sense.

Glad you enjoyed it!
For sure i would love to watch an engine bay detailing of that nice truck with the best company (Yvan and Nick !!!!!)
Coming soon!
I have done this hybrid wash and love it. Followed by ceramic gloss with decon towel as a “wash and wax” service. Super efficient and great results!
Thanks for sharing!
I would love to see an engine wash, but also, an engine start ;)
Great suggestion!
Go for the engine wash guys, I’m really looking forward to the next video 👍😁
Thank you.

Thank you. We like to use DIY Detail Quick Beads
Can't wait to watch it, a good challenge that's gonna prove the effeciency of diy détail's products.
Merci
It is just so nice to see a kranzla in the house
Thank you.
Engine Clean! Thank You For The Videos!
Thanks for watching!
I found it beneficial to drive the tires up on scrap pieces of 2x6 wood blocks with a 45 degree bevel edge to where the tires outside edge overhangs a little so I get full exposure for cleaning and dressing the rubber
Excellent
This is the "inspiration wash technique" for my truck...prep for a ceramic coating AND a soft tonneau top on the truck-bed!
Thank you.
@ what is the best product to clean and protect a "soft" tonneau top?
Yes to engine wash!
I didn’t know Incredible Suds then Rinseless was novel!
I like doing this myself with my maintenance washes. I enjoy the FOAM too much to Rinseless, rinse, Rinseless😂.

2nd and ready with Humberto for another awesome video. 💯💪
Thank you.
Shout out to the owner getting involved. Not easy to do when filming.
Yes, Rob was great.
Good stuff, yes to the engine wash.
Thanks 👍
Plop plop plop sound in the morning lol
Yes
Great video and cool truck!
Thank you.

Me the other day thinking just about this…and a video drops covering it
Stay tuned
Are you working on an incredible Suds V2?
I’d love to see a version that isn’t so thick
Yes
I hate waterspots so much! 😡😡 unfortunately I have to park my car outside and it seems they reappear every couple months. I’m very interested on the polishing process with those vinyl stripes
Where do u live I park my car outside but don’t have this issue
Thank you.

Use DIY Detail Tree Sap Remover
Great video!

On white paint i have to grind just because of the brown stubborn spots thats just doesn’t come off with just rubbing. I let the iron remover sit for awhile and sometimes it works and when its really hard to get of i grind
In that case it’s safer and more efficient to polish.
When do you use a 40 degree nozzle or change to a 25 degree nozzle as I think I saw both in video
i was wondering this, as well.
We generally use a 15 or 25.
Definitely would like to see the engine detail. I like to spray with an APC, the. foam and rinse mine every few washes which keeps it pretty clean, good enough for sure!
2nd…where do you get the clear bucket for rinseless?
Will do

You mentioned using cold water. If you have hot water available, any advantage or disadvantage in using hot/warm water?
Slight advantage
Every time i want to make a purchase you guys are out of stock on something I need. This time it's water spot remover
Our stock issues are slowly becoming a thing of the past.
I was thinking about your system and tar. As you don’t do a dedicated tar remover assumed the clay towel was picking up the small tar deposits. Will the clay towel need special measures with tar?
No, use DIY Detail Tree Sap Remover and a scrap MF towel
Even after applying Apc with I.S to the paint and letting it sit and decontaminating the paint when you started rinsing the looked like it was still beading! I’m not convinced your apc is strong enough to do a heavy decon . Btw i love your products but thats just my professional analysis
The truck had a coating on it already. If your apc is killing beading there are other things it’s killing as well
Can you recommend a platform you like? I'm short and have challenges reaching areas on the roof.
We use one from Lowes
Will you be ceramic coating the tonneau cover also? I recently did a clients Truck and I asked him if he wanted the ceramic coating on the cover also. Thankfully he said no, as I didn't really have an reasonable response if he said yes.

We have a distributor in Hawaii

Is there any additional benefit of doing more than one round of iron remover and/or waterspot remover?
No
I really like the detailing platform you DIY professionals use, what is the brand name of the platform?
Werner from lowes
Where did you guys get the bucket dollies in this video? I have not seen them yet anywhere. I like the wheels and the holders on each corner.
Those are prototypes I’m developing
Will there ever be an acidic car shampoo since you have incredible suds (pH neutral) and all clean (high pH)?
Not until we can make one that actually does something, the ones we have tested are more placebo than performing. If you need to remove minerals DIY Detail Water Spot Remover is the most effective and efficient solution.

Does that platform adjust for height? I'm guessing its a HD "gorilla" platform? I bought a HF platform, and unfortunately, it's not high enough for me to reach the middle of the roof or hood on my pick-up.
Yes it’s height adjustable. It’s a Werner from Lowes . We also have the gorilla, this one is better
There can never be enough trucks being washed. Wash away.
Thank you.
When Yvan was doing the mineral cleansing step, did he use a rinseless dampened towel or dry towel to spread the water spot remover? Are there any scratch risk not flipping the towel?
Rinseless dampened
No risk since it’s after contact wash and decon towel.
Rinseless dampened towel, extremely low risk
Awesome video vote for engine bay video
Coming soon
When is the water remover going to be back in stock?
We hope before the end of the month
Engine bay wash please!
Stay tuned
Yes, engine bay!
Thank you.
Will water spot remover degrade Soft99 Fusso Coat
We haven’t tested that
Where can we get the platform to buy?
Lowes
Why didn't you use iron remover on the wheels?
It’s not always necessary
Where do you guys get your clear buckets from??
I’ve wondered this same thing!
I saw the answer somewhere. It was some hardware store. Simple buckets.

What is CHAT or CHET?
Chemical Heat Agitation Time
@diydetailofficial Thanks
All Clean used to foam very well on its own. Why change the formula to make it foam less? Why does it have to have incredible Suds added? Doesn't make any sense.
We haven’t changed it at all. Adding DIY Detail Incredible Suds just gives you more dwell time
@diydetailofficial your old videos all clean by itself was extremely foamy. It's not now.
Would be nice to see the engine…
Thank you.
Yes, please wash away engine bay
You got it!
