- This show sees Queensrÿche opening for Ozzy Osbourne. Fortunately for us, it was caught on video in its entirety, and the quality is pretty good considering the age. The audio however had a lot of noise, and is somewhat distant, as the camera was filming from the balcony.
The show itself is great. The band's performance is strong and tight, and Geoff's voice is still in great shape, although he does sound a little tired in a few minor spots. The audience seems to be into Queensrÿche's set as well, which always adds to the atmosphere of the show.
Overall it's a great show that every fan should give a spin. Enjoy!
*Re-uploaded after 4 years:* I've adjusted the video levels, de-noised the video and EQ'd the audio as well to remove noise. Enjoy!
Is there a way to get a hold of the audio that hasn't been re-compressed a few times?
Such a shame that this recording is not good, his voice is out of this world in this song
Insanely excellent. He could really do all the things no one ever could before.. or after
At that time (and until "Promised Land"), the best band in our solar system...
Love early Queensryche they were incredible!!! But they were never the same after DeGarmo left. This is my favorite song from them.
THAT voice...
RYCHE N ROLL Tates vocals were just insane !
What a gem. Thank you for uploading this.
Saw them opening for Dio in 11/86 in Hannover Germany 😎🍀
Geoff Tate and Queensryche will always be treated with love and respect for their priceless contribution to metal music, no matter time or place!

You're missed so much! None have begun to touch the caliber
of His voice,in its purity,or range !! The entire band is incredible!
He was our Elvis ......The GOAT !!!!
You did a FANTASTIC job cleaning up this concert,,,THANK YOU!!!
when Tate had a voice ... and a big voice!
now THAT was Geoff Tate.
They played tight. Extreme professionalism at it's finest.
I saw them open for Ozzy on this same tour in Portland, Maine the night before this show. Great show. They were as loud as Priest show.
Geoff apenas brincando de cantar , relíquia !
His voice is unbelievable, no one sing like him ❤
Tate was actually God in his prime. No mere mortal can emit those sounds. Queensryche was the Rush of heavy metal.
Well o like both, but listen to Midnight from Ceimson Glory and be surprised)
eg valhalla or azrael live ones.
I would say DT was the Rush of heavy metal. But QR is a good choice too
🤙😎🤘🤘🤘
Friggin awesome....my 6th bday they were rocking the fuck out
