What Trump talked about is actually FAR more connected and relevant to Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) that occurred in 1930s Germany. That’s a thousand times scarier than the fictional movie I see people on Twitter discussing.
It was literally an allegory for fascism. I know they just kept making more and more sequels, but every single one of them still had the same thread winding through them. They didn't even really try to hide it; how many times was the Big Bad working for the nationalist government? I was watching an interview with Karl Rove on FauxNews, he was giving a blow-by-blow of the debate and how TFG should have responded each time to VP Harris. He was more than just a "whisperer". Rove didn't even criticize what TFG said. He just put alternate retorts in his mouth with the advantage of his own experience and in hindsight. He was creating a fantasy of the candidate in the minds of the viewers.

Given what we regularly see in the news, I can imagine a situation where law enforcement does just that. I suspect our "constitutional sheriffs" in my state would gleefully do so.
It's $1000 in NY as well. Over $1000 it's Grand Larceny and at minimum a Class E felony. Makes sense though, you know? California and New York, those blue states with all those convicted felons! It's EXACTLY how they skew the data to fit their narrative. All of the "law and order" and "tough on crime" coming from the Red States is nonsense. A lot of them are pushing "transparent sentencing laws." The states that go on TV (Indiana, Utah, Louisiana) and give people 160 years with no parole are actually commuting the sentences, and then making it so the people are immediately eligible for parole after less than half of the reduced sentence. There's a huge disconnect in what Judges or juries are ordering and what Corrections actually has control over. (Apologies for the tangent) I find it interesting. 🤔🤷🏻♀️
If he wins, it will be his solution to everything, including towards those who didn't support him. Give him one hour... 🤨 It's just like where he said that he'd be a dictator only on the first day. Yeah, right... 🙄

After everything DJT has said and done, I still find it difficult to believe some people think it is okay for him to “jest” about something so horrendous as Kristallnacht and all that followed.
It's honestly amazing that anyone can understand Trump when half of his sentences leave oit the subject, and the other half leave out the predicate. He's the only person I've heard that can manage to make every sentence both a fragment and a run on.
I've thought for some time that he wants to enlist his paramilitary gangs in some sort of official or semi-official capacity. It should be obvious who the "they" are, of course. This is the result of not shutting him down hard on the "just a joke" excuse. He doesn't joke. He doesn't laugh. He has no sense of humor. He's always been serious.
They never think it will happen to turn. Right up until it suddenly does, and they're suddenly begging for help from the very people they shit all over fright up until that moment.
During a interview while he was President, Trump came up with a re-election slogan that was *The Purge* tag line for the latest release - "Keep America Great" He insisted an aid write that down. I'm assuming someone else read the article from that interview and made sure to not remind Trump of his new catchphrase.

I've always called them the "trump whisperers". Anyone who needs 100 different people telling you "what he really meant", none of whom ever even agree with each other, shouldn't anywhere near any position of power.
He was creating a fantasy of the candidate in the minds of the viewers.
just an FYI - JACK SMITH is Listening to EVERYTHING trump is saying..........it's ALL adding UP
I really can't wait for his last filing to be made public. That's going to be incredible.
He's broken many laws he isn't held liable. Unfortunately this is free speech. It's only if he threatens people directly (and he has) or directs a mob to violence (which he has) can he be indicted for something.
Hitler said roughly the same thing...before Kristallnacht.
Never take Trump as a joke...
He has gottin this idea ftom his Fascist political machine & it is very much aligned vwith the Brown Shirts of 1930's Germany
This is right in line with him telling officers they don’t have to be careful, while putting suspects in the back of the car. He tells us everyday exactly who he is. Believe him.
Harris/Walz for the White House & Trump for the Big House in 2024!
I’m so tired of corporate media giving him a pass on his antics 🙄🤦♂️
I REALLY like that she quotes Trump verbatim. More people need to quote him that way
Especially given the sheer difficulty experienced by educated people when trying to speak "idiot"
Kristallnacht, He is trying to recreate the 'night of broken glass'.
Yep. I -hate that gremlin and every single one of his sideshow base sooo much.
@@RevShifty the real problem being that those are our friends and neighbors. Sigh.
@@Nembula I know where you're coming from and certainly appreciate it, but they're absolutely no friend of mine, personally. Supporting him was *always* a moral failure IMO, and supporting him now, after all his convictions and charges and countless accusations is a line I flat out refuse to cross.
I will not keep company with racists and rapists, nor anyone who supports them. It's that simple. I understand not everyone can go that far on principle or values alone, but I can, so that's exactly what I'm doing.
@@RevShifty This. So much this! Thank you. Forget policy, forget a poor Covid response and complete ineptness and overriding ego that wouldn't let him hire people that knew what he was doing. The man is a convicted criminal. He's a fraud and a rapist who keeps company with the same and worse. I don't care if he actually could balance the budget and control world dictators. The man is not just stupid, he's cruel and he's evil and he surrounds himself with evil. If you support him, I don't want to have a relationship with you.
You know... just off handedly telling "jokes" about a literal Purge or Kristallnacht.... Mmmmkay, trumpy... we see you.
When someone already knows everything, they can't learn anything.
Or he has learned. Nothing has happened to him from the 6th. He can say whatever, the cult will obey, and HE will be fine.
He's proclaimed that all along
Given what we regularly see in the news, I can imagine a situation where law enforcement does just that. I suspect our "constitutional sheriffs" in my state would gleefully do so.
Dystopian fictions are supposed to be warnings, not how-to-manuals
If Trump doesn't know what he's saying at times, maybe he shouldn't ever be president. The guy with the red button should be lucid.
Trump has never been lucid. His ideas-such as they are-have always been inane and dangerous.
Remember! The 5th of November!
(General Election Day 2024.) Vote. Show Republicans That We Reject Fascism.
He means Kristallnacht
Yep, DonOld wants one of his very own.
Yes…Hydra is not just in the comic books…it’s in the deep underbelly of numerous countries…
I was disturbed enough about the proximity to the Purge. Terrifying.
In Texas it's $2500 which is a higher threshold than California.
There you go with facts.....
Soooo, Texas is _woke_ and soft on crime?
I'm a Californian. I did not know that about Texas. Thanks for sharing.
Don't you dare bringing facts into this feelings fight!
I just don’t understand how any true American can stand with him.
Any normal person would have spent years in jail for the things we know he has done because he confessed on television.
You only have to take away rights of THOSE people. Please ignore the criminal behind the curtain (or on the podium). Big racist dog whistle.
These people APPLAUDED his full page advertisement calling for the death penalty to be applied towards 5 innocent teens in NYC.
If he wins, it will be his solution to everything, including towards those who didn't support him. Give him one hour... 🤨 It's just like where he said that he'd be a dictator only on the first day. Yeah, right... 🙄
So if he doesn't support due process then let's sentence him, force him to pay his half a billion in judgements and let's get those other cases rolling and by the way, it's obvious he stole national secrets, skip due process and jail him.
The lying and ability to lie is one of the most depressing things.
He has learned. He's learned that he can incite people and his little plausible deniability he needs. It's deliberate inciting people to greater violence.
here in the UK we had a few rough days back in August in response to a terrible crime. It made everything worse. Much worse
It always does. That's how you know they're not speaking in good faith that they're selling fairytales about "the way things should work". And it's just as useless and absurd as every other fairytale.
I honestly expected Trump to suggest _The Purge_ before now because it mirrors an event I'm sure he loved in history, "The Night of Broken Glass."
I'd expect him to indulge in a song of praise to christal night. Maybe later....
@@Jay-lw5vq Count on it.
He already pulled the "they're polluting our country and our culture!" bullshit. I was almost morbidly impressed by the way he was able to dance around "Blood and Soil" without actually saying it.
And it's still only going to get worse between now and January. Don't let your guards down.
@@RevShifty I had my recommendation, but Biden would never do it no matter how necessary.
HE ENJOYS THE CHAOS HE CREATES.
If Trump didn't mean to spark January 6th, he would have stopped it instead of watching for over an hour.
3 hours plus
I don't think he learned "nothing" from the 6th, I think he learned he could get away with it because justice wasn't swift.
Belle, your Trump impression is spot on.
😂😂😂🤣🤣
I saw the movie… It’s called The Purge. If that doesn’t terrify you nothing does.
IFF Trump truly expected peaceful saunter to the Capitol, upon hearing the news of the violence, Trump would have immediately taken to Twitter and put out a video.
Not watch it happen with popcorn in the dining room.

This needs to be the top comment on every video.
This checks off traits 3,5,6,7,9,11, and 14 from Eco's 14 ways of eternal fascism (to be fair Trump is always ticking the box for number 14). And characteristics 2,3,4,9, and 12 from Lawrence Britt's Defining Characteristics of Fascism.
Clear and present danger, enemy of The State. Should be in custody.
Nothing truer ever said.
Trump doesn’t know what he is saying.
I think it is more a case of nobody knows what Trump is aying, because he doesn't really say anything coherrant at all.
Yes, he does
The sheep are sheep and they will follow him, it’s a cult!!!
Trump knows exactly what he's saying, and he means to see it done, not for a day but as policy. He casually floats his ayholisms as random ideas at first, but he alwsys fully intends them to become real. Anyone really like the idea of living in more of a Purge style police state than we already are?
Personally, I'd stop routinely speeding
What did he say about "suspend the Constitution..."?
At least he understands the concept of correction of how a comprehensive high school parking lot asskicking - may have corrected his mental issues.
Another great analysis, sister!
Mike Kelly is an objectively horrible person I hate that he's been in congress for so long
Sounds like he's giving law enforcement permission to unalive his cultists during the next coup attempt.
Oddly, I support tRump in This. One. Item.
If Trump doesn't know what he's talking about, he shouldn't be talking. I'm just saying.
Dolt 45 and his toxic word salad...
Y'all vote Blue!
Is he advocating for a 'rough day' for all criminals?
Because he might want to think about how many fellonies he's stacked up so far before going down that path.
👋
Thanks, Belle and crew 😊.
A Purge with no restrictions... 🤔
He became popular saying, "they aren't coming after me they are coming after you , I'm just in their way"
Now he wants "The Authorities" to " get rough with" the "OTHERS" ,
But don't worry , he loves the uneducated , and he "will" stand in their way , if they come after you ,
Don't worry no confusion ,
No logical discontinuity ,
No non sequiturs
Clear as day
Only HE Can Save You
HE thinks YOU will swallow this !
Will YOU ?
Another example of incitement of violence which would have anyone else arrested, but a candidate for public office.
Thank you for all you do!
Get out there and vote, my friends. Or we're up against the wall if he wins.
Domestic terrorism in play.
One minute Trump and MAGA luv the Constitution. The next, they're all "We need to get rid of the Constitution."
Republicans so weird.
After everything DJT has said and done, I still find it difficult to believe some people think it is okay for him to “jest” about something so horrendous as Kristallnacht and all that followed.
Somebody should explain The Constitution to his fan base on Faux, NewsMinimum, etc. I doubt most of them have ever read it.
He has connections, starting with Betsy DeVos's brother. Btw where does he harass people presently?
Thank you Belle!!
Greetings Friends!
I see you got THE best seat in the house! 🎉 5th at the 5th! 🎉
I thought he was talking about law enforcement originally. A historically accurate version of the purge is just ax scary.
I don't want to hear or see that man anymore. Tired!
it's not enough not to see or hear trump anymore because he has a massive cult who will take his place.
Not just this November, but many years to come, of consistent voting. We have to show up every time to soundly defeat fascism.
Another beautiful plaid shirt I love. Thank you. 🌟🫶💕
He absolutely means it. And his supporters love it. (Because they think it won't ever happen to them.)
They never think it will happen to turn. Right up until it suddenly does, and they're suddenly begging for help from the very people they shit all over fright up until that moment.
During a interview while he was President, Trump came up with a re-election slogan that was *The Purge* tag line for the latest release - "Keep America Great"
He insisted an aid write that down.
I'm assuming someone else read the article from that interview and made sure to not remind Trump of his new catchphrase.
Prop 47 yes im a California voter i remember voting yes but then i one of those California Liberals... Also your great at this. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It's incredible that the mainstream media still doesn't take this guy seriously
They do, but they're no longer in it to report _news_ - they're in it for clicks and views - for profit. Like it or not, tRump's idiocy sells
Let's see how many good cops say something about his statement?
Thank you for the commentary, Belle.
I wonder what he will say when he finds out the felony threshold in Texas is $1500.
Wait really? I feel like that should be a video. Lol.
@@BeauoftheFifthColumnI apologize.
Googling it I found this.
In general, theft of property worth less than $2,500 is a misdemeanor. Theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000 is a state jail felony, and a person who is convicted may be sentenced to between 180 days and two years in state prison
Apparently it has gone up.
Good evening Shawn! You mean drumph doesn't know everything? ;-)

You should have used a sofa.
So people actually acknowledge that Trump doesn't know what he's saying, and still want him for president?
Great video. Vote blue. 💙💙💙
If Trump doesn’t know what he is saying, he shouldn’t be speaking.
who'd a thunk - a billionaire doesn't know a thing about the constitution or any laws. Hmm
