- Is it even possible to put every animal in one franchise zoo? I'm going to find out! Today we are back finishing the Oceania Pack, adding Spectacled Flying Fox and the Tasmanian Devil into the Every Animal Zoo! My challenge is to create a profitable Franchise Mode zoo that will eventually house every animal in Planet Zoo. Join along as we learn how to create a successful franchise mode zoo together!

About me: I'm Plastic Swans and I do a lot of wacky stuff with Planet Zoo, like racing the animals and time trials. I like to call this kind of thing wholesome chaos and that's what I try to do most of all on the channel. I also make one-off habitats and zoos, and I also make the starter habitats for Planet Zoo, a collection of ready-made franchise/challenge compatible habitats for every animal in the game.

We do have another pack confirmed! According to the January interim report, DLC is set to be released before the end of FY24 (May 31st), and the outsource_lqa file has been updated on Steam DB. Once this happens, it's usually around 5 weeks til the next pack.
When it comes to the collared peccaries, I think it would make the most sense to add them to the capybara and llama enclosure since they have interspecies enrichment with both of them.

I think you should just convert to sandbox at this point. You fulfilled the "every animal franchise zoo" concept, the new dlcs are just a bonus
Another fantastic episode. I think Swans you need to do what makes you happy and what makes your life easier - I think at this point in the series we have all moved past the challenge part of zoo and are watching for you as a creator and your presentation. If swapping to sandbox makes ur life easier or any other option you choose we will still be here regardless. Another fantastic episode once again

Thanks! I feel like the title would be a lie if I switch to sandbox. We're so close to the end, I'm pretty sure there's not a lot of DLCs left. I'll pull it over the line kicking and screaming 😂
Somehow I have never seen this series but just got caught up!! Extremely impressed with all the work you’ve done here, I’ve been thinking of trying the same thing in sandbox mode myself and even in sandbox mode I can only imagine how long it will take me! I can’t wait for the next episodes, I think the Eurasia pack animals might be some of my favorites in the whole game! Can’t wait to see what you do for the Saigas and Takins especially I love those weird little guys 😂
I was one of the ones that was interested in seeing if you managed to get an all animal zoo working. It was a nice challenge. But, enjoyment is still the number 1 priority. So if you are not having that, it's time to change it up. Do what works for you. Your creative layouts are just as inspirational as the challenge.

4 years playing still finding how to do the landscape i have alot to learn thought ill do a hippo build i had to get rid of the hippos because didnt like my water i had protesters think am just really new at the game 😅
Don't worry, my hippos in this zoo are dangerously close to having protestors too! They need so much water! Everything was fine until they all started having loads of little hippos!

You could make the animal aging slower to slow down maturity and death
It's already set to the slow setting, but with 100+ habitats, it's struggling still!

That's the plan. I was waiting until the game finished development to capture them all in the next iteration of the challenge, but have no idea what the plans are for when there won't be any more, so need to just get back into it. My plan is to re-do them all, and spend the extra time breeding my own starter pairs so that they're the youngest they can be for starting off
Is there anyway to get more disk space on workshop? I’m new to console and wonder what will happen if I exceed it?
