I'm not the only one who's listened to it that many times from the jump 🥲. It feels like 1.25x speed or it's slightly pitched up 🤔?, Which is maybe to better sync it with the visuals, or get around potential copyright flagging. Regardless, amazing. Maybe pitched up, the vocals don't sound faster.

I'll bet it's a PAL/NTSC video tape conversion issue (that was a mouthful). One is used in the US and one is used in the UK. I forget the details but converting from one format to the other will cause a pitch/time shift unless additional steps are taken to avoid this. Anyway, good ear! :)
When I feel sad I listen to this, read the account of Pasolini's brutal death, and admire pictures of his broken, mutilated body. It always cheers my heart to know that some people really do get what they deserve.
