Everything worked like in the video except for the last part about checking the gurobi installation in Anaconda Python. I get the error: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ModuleNotFoundError Traceback (most recent call last) Cell In[3], line 1 ----> 1 from gurobipy import * 3 Model() ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'gurobipy'
how can you open the gurobi interactive shell? Im working on a Mac Laptop and the installation is weird. After the installation is "complete" i cant find the program on my PC
Title of this video needs to be more specific. This only shows installation procedures if you're using anaconda. What if I don't use anaconda but only clean python and vscode?
Thank you for putting this together. Question, which application did you use to blur the data in your video? I am trying to create an installation video, but cannot find how to blur personal data. Thank you!!

Hello Sir, I really loved your video, but I'm still struggling to get it up and running. I have licensed it and everything, but im not able to add channels in the anaconda prompt. it is displaying an error of an unrecognized argument. Can you please advise?
Hi, Batuhan! Sorry for the late reply. As long as you activate your license through Gurobi Interactive Shell, you do not need to do extra activation through Spider IDE. You only need to install gurobipy package and import it to your Python session. Best, Coding Perspective Team
Hi Lirim, when you are on campus, your internet must already be connected to the academic network. When you are not on campus, you can use the VPN connection, or a similar service, of your university.
0:38 - Creating a Gurobi account
1:36 - Obtaining an academic license
2:23 - Downloading Gurobi Optimizer
3:21 - Installing Gurobi Optimizer
4:00 - Activating the academic license

Is gurobipy a free package in python for commercial use?
The package is free but it uses Gurobi at the back which is free only for academic use.
So.... how do I connect to academic network? You never explain that step. I'm currently a student at a University.

@@CodingPerspective Didn't expect such a quick answer. Thanks a lot!
