A lot of the “robbed” seasons were strong strategy players vs strong alliances. Some people take too much time playing the physical and mental side of the game and forget the emotional side of it. If we’re equal but half the jury hates me, you’ll win. If we’re equal but half the jury feels sad for me, I’ll win. It’s not “equal” but it is fair, because everyone has opportunities to create those relationships.
It’s kinda funny. The whole jury sequestration came into play because of the evicted houseguests hating Danielle’s gloating in the diary room. Which was kinda ironic because Dr. Will won in Season 2 due to the jury seeing him talk about his strategy in the diary room. Had the jury sequestration been a thing back the, Dr. Will probably would have lost BB2 and Danielle probably would have won BB3.

Aside from the week 1 hoh and being in Chilltown, Boogie was pretty irrelevant to Big Brother pre all stars. Discussions were always focused on Will because he flourished after Boogie left. He probably had a very similar reputation as Shannon had.
At the time of the airing of Big Brother 14, Dan Gheesling was the only houseguest to play the game twice, and not get evicted either time. Truly stunning gameplay.
I believe Dr. Will could have made the final three. If he did, both Janelle and Boogie would take him to the final two (he'd probably would win even over Janelle) Dr. Will originally played to help his friend win the money. Remember Will kept talking about leaving early in the game. I believe he truly enjoyed the gameplay and diary room skits. So he didn't leave. I'm describing certain during Labor Day weekend live feeds. On the feeds Boogie and Erica were moping. Boogie saw that Dr. Will would win again and he was depressed. Erika was super depressed, she stopped self care. She expected be evicted by Dr. Will's showmance. So the two of them are spending Sunday afternoon pouting while laying outside. It was interesting to watch because they really let their insecurities show (I think Boogie was jealous of Will) and Erica really wanted to be in a showmance with Will. But she had to settle for Boogie. I went to the Beach and stayed the night. So I didn't watch the feeds for a day. I come home Monday evening and I've got the feeds on. I'm winding down before going to bed for work the next day. Erika woke up to the fact Janelle hadn't made any promises for the veto. Erika caught on to the fact Will wasn't big into his showmance with Janelle. Erika decides to speak with Janelle. Spelling out how the showmance wasn't entirely real. Will only stepped up the attention the couple days prior. I think Will knew he'd probably win again if he stayed in the house. Will and Boogie know Erika and Janelle are talking and comparing notes. Boogie wanted to go inside and trash the conversation. Will kept saying to Boogie we need to let them talk. Let's walk outside here. I live in FL and it's about 1 AM when it's really going down. I couldn't go to sleep. If Will stormed into the room, he could have said yes, we've been getting closer the last few days. But who are we going to hang out with. We're spending even more time together and our feelings are growing by the day. I don't think he wanted to lie and use Janelle (he really liked her but not in a romantic way). As much as Boggie felt like he was in Will's shadow, he loved his friend and wanted to have him there in the end (where he'd lose). I feel like Will took the loss and set the jury up to vote for Boogie. I remember only one thing about the jury questions was someone being an honorary member of Chilltown. Mike said Chicken George. I forget why but I believed him. Chicken George was a lovable goof.
It's crazy that some people consent to do this twice... but then again if your mental fortitude is strong then for you it's cushy living. Just be sociable and unassuming.

Minor correction Derek and season 16 was the first to never be on the nomination block and when, Cody was able to repeat this in his All-Star season and become the second to do so
we have had 22 seasons of big brother here in Brazil (23rd still airing) and the public still decides who leaves the competition and this is a huge mistake cause the voters take out everyone who makes strategies and "dirty" games and the 3 last people that last in the final are always the most boring houseguestes

100% agree. BB15 really was the transition into a new era. The game was on a downfall since after BB10, getting less serious and more goofy, leading to less fights/arguments. I’ll also note that while BB16 is far from my favorite season, it was my introduction into the world of Big Brother, so it’ll always be memorable for me.
@@rydermckay6660 neither. Season 10 was one of the last truly greatest all-round seasons. S11 - 12 was okay for fights. 13 was very mild. 14 was terrible (Dan, Ian, Frank, Shane, and Britney) were the only ones really playing). 15 was terrible too.
Same for me with 16! First first season I watched even tho I caught the last 1/3 of bb15 it just wasn’t the same because the cast was horrid. Bb16 was the first one I anticipated and ran to watch live

I always have to kind of take up for Chima. She suffers from extreme PTSD. Chima survived a murder/r*pe situation where the guy had 2 or 3 victims before her. It was brutal. This show wasn't good for her mental health. Surviving that kind of trauma, then living around men you don't know has to be a living nightmare.
Correction: the original format of evictions on the first ever Big Brother in the Netherlands was actually bi-weekly (much like BB1 of the US version): every other week the housemates nominated and the public would evict in the following week.
Loved this video. It reminds me of 20 great seasons. I subtracted a couple. It's amazing how many couples have married and had babies. Jody just had their third child. JeJo had two and Brenchel did as well. This show does so much better at pairing couples than the Bachelor. I think the idea of putting someone into an isolated house without outside influence helps. But also why would I want the Bachelor when he's made out with 20 other women.
I remember starting with season 14... It was such an incredible introduction. I've been hooked ever since. The seasons after were definitely pretty hit or miss. Some I don't even remember but honestly I'm still a fan for life now. Also watching Julie play in the house at the end... I've been saying this for a while but I need to see Julie compete just once. XD

It’s crazy how much it’s changed. Ive watched since season 2 and sometimes don’t connect with the cast as much and take a year off, then bam, the next summer is amazing and I can’t believe I ever stopped watching.
You’re wrong about when OTEV started. I’ve watched every season many, many times. Just finished watching them all in reverse order. I do usually skip 1, 9, and 19, though. Anyway, back to my point. The very first iteration of OTEV was during BB7 All Stars, when Janelle “give it to me!” Pierzina and James “it’s a small harm, but it IS a physical harm” Rhine fought over the H and M voodoo dolls. Or as Dr. Will said, “She just kicked his ass!”
Overall, great wrap-up of all the seasons. But, Derek was the first to never touch the nomination chair, Cody was the second. Also, production did know Tommy and Christie knew each other, it was another dumb twist. Whether they knew if Kat and Holly knew each other is debatable.
This was such a great refresher. I started watching BB during season 8 and have seen every season up until season 21. I haven’t had enough spare time to keep up with the newer seasons, but I’m glad to see I wasn’t missing much. Apparently my favorite seasons had little to do with gameplay and much more to do with which cast members I found to be most entertaining. 🙃
I build furniture as my main occupation. No joke one of my customers was Zach of BB16. I couldn't tell at first it was him, what gave it away was he had his BB Comic hanging on the wall. I asked for a photo which he was very happy to oblige and I still have a picture of him holding his comic.

Honestly BB21 had some classic moments in it. David was put into the first eviction challenge, but I don't think anyone thought he'd be the one to lose it out of Jessica, Kemi, Cliff and himself. Unfortunate, but he kinda lost it fair and square.

So, from 17 to 21, five seasons total, the only 2 great seasons (17 and 20) were the only two to not have a day one (or day 2) eviction.

Season Eight’s final three competitions - specifically the second one - is the most phenomenal competition ever.

Apparently my favorite seasons had little to do with gameplay and much more to do with which cast members I found to be most entertaining. 🙃
I will say hands down my favorite seasons of Big brother was All Stars Big Brothers 7 Big brother 8 and Big brother 16

I build furniture as my main occupation. No joke one of my customers was Zach of BB16. I couldn't tell at first it was him, what gave it away was he had his BB Comic hanging on the wall. I asked for a photo which he was very happy to oblige and I still have a picture of him holding his comic.

Honestly BB21 had some classic moments in it. David was put into the first eviction challenge, but I don't think anyone thought he'd be the one to lose it out of Jessica, Kemi, Cliff and himself. Unfortunate, but he kinda lost it fair and square.

Torn by your lack of coverage by celebrity big brother. On the one hand, disappointment because I'm kinda curious how they turned out in the end.. on the other, glad because I hated celebrity big brother. They really sucked.

Old era BBAU is still probably some of my favourite BB, before that trainwreck '08 or '09 season. I'm glad our's went it's own way, they're completely different games and shows, but our's is gettin' stale.. definitely needs a shakeup soon.
