When this show was originally airing, I used to describe this batshit title sequence to my classmates at school, and they thought I was making the whole thing up. Watching it again thirty years later, I can't say I blame them. Thanks for posting!
Never heard of "The Nutt House". Looks interesting with that kind of pedigree. Probably not much of a surprise that it didn't last long. Looks like it suffered the same fate as Police Squad ; parody was difficult to replicate for T.V.
Now there was an Australian space age send up show after Rapido which was so funny and the cast in that show used to all sing and their singing was really really good can any body tell me the name of that show

Cracking wee interview that
Griff Rhys Jones did a parody which ended with him turning sideways and saying ‘now will someone get zese bloody ‘andcuffs off?’
Did rapido show aeon flux?
You're thinking of Liquid Television, also on BBC2.

Is this pretty much unique in being a TV show with the same presenter, same title and same credits produced in two languages?
is this like a clean prototype of Eurotrash? Never heard of this one before!
Wouldn't allowed to call a tv series THAT any more, let-alone MAKE one about that subject-matter ..........
It's a bit more socially awkward than the Spanish pronunciation of rapido.
proto eurotrash

@@delboy-su3wf yeah: oily smooth girl-haired Fabio was definitely not a puddle-jumper.
