I've already used VST's like Cableguys Shaperbox, Sugarbytes Effectrix, Tone 2 Multi FX and I have to say... this is the best interface in terms of mobility, visual, modulations, macros... I love everything inside and the usual integrations that arturia offer in FX's and Instruments. I love some brands, but arturia is on my top. The correct type of this vst is "Creative Movement Shaper", i love this one and of course my Unfiltered Audio Byome and Triade, are on my election list.

Sarcastic whining aside, They are right.! Don't use motion FX on moving tracks. Don't use clippers on already clipped drums. Don't use reverb FX on already wet tracks, Lofi FX on Lofi sounds, etc. For production, sure. But not for demoing purposes. That's like if I want you to judge my new hot sauce flavor and I it give to you on a spicy wing? VS Me giving it to to you on bland chicken strip so you can really taste the sauce. Now at lunch, if you wanna add some to your spicy wings, by all means knock yourself out. Lol!
CPU usage on a fairly old system (2019 core i7) shows to be 3-5% on avg. On a 2015 MacBook Pro i7 it’s around 10-12% on avg. Conclusion - pretty low cpu usage in my tests.
