Great song Penny Lane. I have to say that Strawberry Field's Forever is a much better track. Strawberry Field's is a landmark Beatles song. There had never been a single like this before. Strawberry Field's Forever also knocked Brian Wilson's confidence, after hearing it, he knew that he couldn't compete with this kind of music and ruined Wilson's plan for his album Smile. Strawberry Field's Forever/Penny Lane has to be one of, if not the greatest single of all time.
