The first one is probably my favourite line ever in the show and yes the second hit me in the feels as well lol
I’ll punch you so hard you see is my favorite line in The Defenders!! The first time I heard her say it I laughed out loud and had to back it up and listen again to make sure I heard her correctly. Best. Line. Ever!! ❤❤

I've never followed the Daredevil Comics so I'm not certain if Matt Murdoch was born blind or if he had some sight when he was younger and then lost it? The only reason I'm asking this is because I noticed the actor is using his facial muscles a lot as if he can see or he knows what human facial gestures are. If he's blind for birth he wouldn't know that. So I'm just wondering if the actor is playing true to the character?
The only reason I bring this up is because I do have several blind friends And All of them were born blind and cannot Replicate Facial gestures such as raising the eyebrows they don't smirk Home They don't frown They can't get angry and it does show on the face but it's not pronounced very strongly so that's the only reason why I was wondering I was just curious thanks.
Yes, he was born with sight and at the age of 9 he lost it due to an accident with chemicals that also gave him superpowers. (By the way, the origin story of the Ninja Turtles is a parody on this one) In terms of acting abilities, some association of blind people said that Charlie Cox plays very accurately like a blind person and he even participated in a charity event for them.
he was in an accident when he was a child he saved a blind man from getting hit by a car full of chemicals the chemicals then spilled on Matt turning him blind, it's also the same accident that created the Ninja Turtles no I will not elaborate more.
In addition to what the others have said about him losing his sight as a child, his superpowers are extremely heightened senses and his other senses come together to form a rudimentary picture for him so even if he had been born that way he could probably still “see” well enough to pick up on facial expressions
