  • This is the first time I've tried chocolates from #Herculescandy the first one I tried was the dark chocolate coconut and off camera was milk chocolate cream flavored rum that was delish 😋 it's in a Happy Valentine's Day 1/2 lb box $15.99 shipping cost by UPS was $13.99 cheaper than FedEx, I didn't need a cold pack because it's very cold in Rhode Island
Hercules Candy is family owned by Steve & Terry Andrianos in Syracuse, NY
Please check out their RUclips channel called Hercules Candy like & Subscribe 👍

$16 is expensive? I Honestly that’s dirt cheap. Decent chocolates from Europe are $80-120 a lb. But Hercules doesn’t make anything. They’re just melting stuff and putting it together in different shapes.

I notice a lot of people complaining that it is overpriced and always sold out but you have to imagine all the physical work it takes to make these chocolates and sweets and also how much time! It is all handmade and not made by a machine, therefore they can’t produce as much as other companies and there’s also a high demand at the moment. You have to remember all that, they are a little candy shop and not a huge factory. It is more on the expensive side, but we have to consider the time and effort that goes into it. :)

Hi I’m a huge Hercules fan and your video popped up in my recommended videos, probably because I’ve been binge watching their video for the past few days haha. I just had to say I see some complaints in the comments of their products being soooo over priced andd I think thats kinda unfair. Yes, it is more expensive then your usual big candy companies (I’m not sure if you guys watch their youtube videos), but they’re a small family owned business and it literally takes all day just to make a few batches. If you guys listen to Steve or Max explain the process they talk about how certain steps take hours!! They put a lot of time and effort into their work and, personally, I think its worth it. If you guys cant afford to buy it all the time I understand that, I cant either. I limit myself to one order a year. They’re not asking us to buy from them all the time if we cant afford to, but I do think they’d like if we would just appreciate their work ethic and the fact that they even provide us with entertainment by uploading the videos!!! I love binge watching their videos (esp during quarantine!!). I just wanted to say we don’t have to be so negative and give you guys some perspective. Also, if the OOS complaints are about the ribbon candy (which I see all of them are OOS atm), its because they’ve been busy with valentines day and easter candyy so why cant we give them a break and just support them in anyway we can (if you are a Hercules youtube fan). Anywayyyssss I know this was long and I’m just a stranger, but ya lmao thats my 2 cents on thattt.

Hi J I'm a huge Hercules fan as well, I'm glad my video popped up for recommended videos Thank You for watching by the way, I did see complaints with complaints of their products being overpriced, it is unfair I will have to agree with you, people need to understand they are a family run business like you said, I enjoy watching Steve working his hands with the chocolate, Max stretching the ribbon candy I am their subscriber as well, I love them including Terry and Craig, Karen & Cara, I will be ordering from them again soon the shipping is $13.99 with UPS to Coventry, Rhode Island that's where I live Thank You again for watching my video Have a great day 😺

Luckily I live only an hour from them so don't have to pay for shipping, but even if I did have to pay I would still order. I am worth it!! I deserve a treat every once in a while. Their candy is SO GOOD!! All is made by hand and I love watching their videos. I think their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality product you get. As far as products OOS, (ribbon candy) Some products could not be produced during "lock down" of Covid-19 and even at the time this video was made, in upstate NY we were still experiencing not only shortages of products being available on store shelves but also a lack of people willing to work!

Handcrafted artisan chocolate is not your regular chocolate ... if you're looking for cheap chocolate then buy supermarket products. I only wish I could order some too ! Thanks for the review x

now compare Hercules candy making process 2 or 3 guys to sakllys candy making. Sakllys hires randoms off the street $24 for assorted at sakllys website $29.99 for assorted on hercules website 1 lb .. nothing against sakllys but if you watch both processes I think the extra $5 is worth the extra love? both are great though ..

They don’t make the chocolate. They buy the chocolate from someone else then sell it as theirs. I watched a video of theirs where the opened a bag of jelly beans put some in another bag then add their label as being their candy. They do make their own hard candy. I enjoy watching their videos, they are very pleasant and entertaining.
