- Hello! We are LOKD (Lovers of Kpop Dance) from Austin, TX and we recently performed Naughty by IRENE & SEULGI and IVE by ELEVEN for our high school!
One of our dancers could not make it to the performance, so we made some adjustments to the formations.
This event was a competition that our school hosted and invited for us to make a guest appearance, so the audience is made up of several other schools’ dance teams.

i always tell myself that naughty as a dance cover is hard thing to do and not everyone can execute it perfectly , and u guys really just killed it 👏👏
Damn, I graduated last year and I don’t remember a single person listening to kpop, and then I talked with my friends from younger years and they all listened to kpop or my brother whose singing the 11th grade has almost every he knows listen to kpop. The amount of kpop dance covers I see from high schools has exponentially shot up in the last year/couple months
I graduated 2 years ago and the Korean club at my school would do a kpop performance every year for our cultural festival. I also remember hearing people talk about groups like bts, twice, blackpink, and seventeen. I guess it really depends on the school, we did have a pretty large Asian-American population at mine.
@@nicolev990 for sure, my school had a very small Asian population and an even smaller East Asian population, literally my family and a couple other kids. However kpop has definitely become mainstream since even though there’s barely any Asians at that high school people listen to it in younger grades

@@Biggiecheeze420 i am BTS stan ,yes BTS helped a large amount for k-pop exposure but to reduce everything to 'thanks to bts' is something idk..it is everybody's effort that k-pop exploded and yes BTS played a huge role but gotta give credit to everyone
