I did subscribe to your channel even if I am pretty much experienced English teacher I have a lot to learn from you😊 so don't stop videoing in English, please. I myself immigrated recently from one of the ex soviet country so I need to perfect my English. I found your channel pretty interesting and useful for the people like me, please do your videos in English cos the way you speak is so charming

It's a really busy day! Is your weekend free or do you have some extra activities at school?

My weekends are relatively free. I do teach piano and voice from my home, so I have some students on Saturday and some on Sunday. I cook and clean in between😂. It depends on a weekend.

Elena, will you be able to give some information about how to certify soviet time diplomas here in US? Is it worth to keep working in educational sphere like in the kindergarten or start doing any other business?

Hmm.. hard to say, it depends on what is your field of teaching. Each state has its own certification organization approved by the department of education . I got the name by just calling to department of public education and explaining my situation. It was a smooth, fast process. Again, it depends on your goals, your state, your financial situation. It’s a pretty good stable job if you compare it to what other immigrants do.
