========= Yamato LYRICS ==========
4-1
December sun
The Pacific war has begun
Dark skies
A sun arise
When the treaties fall, prepare for war
Built for storm, cast in giants form
To defy the rules, claim the waves
Thunder roar
Prepare for war
For the high seas kingdom
At the end of the road she must leave the shore
Sail to war
No retreat
She will lead the fleet and
Rise and rule
The waves of thunder
Bow of steel
Shall rip the tide
Guts and guns
Resist the darkness
Down below
Where legends lie
大和よ、応答せよ (Yamato, respond.)
こちら大和、どうぞ (This is Yamato, over.)
作戦開始だ、諸君らの健闘を祈る。(The operation has begun. I wish you all the best.)
HQ call - Ten-Go to war
Born in shade, a secret played
Crowned in smoke and flame, what a start
Naval spine
Guns aligned
She was manned by heroes
As the silence is broken, the guns will roar
Call to war
Fate has been sealed
To the Battlefield and
As the silence is broken by crimson tide
Though her guns have gone cold, still her name remains
No more pain
No more pain
She will rise again and
========= Historic Fact ==========
The Japanese battleship Yamato was the pride of the Imperial Japanese Navy, conceived in secrecy and commissioned in 1941 as the most powerful battleship ever built. Displacing over 70,000 tons at full load and armed with nine unprecedented 18.1-inch (46 cm) main guns, Yamato embodied Japan’s belief in decisive naval combat.
As naval warfare rapidly evolved with the rise of carrier aviation, Yamato was often employed as a fleet flagship, serving as a commanding presence and a symbol of resolve rather than engaging constantly in battle. Her final mission in April 1945, Operation Ten-Go, reflected the courage and sense of duty embodied by her crew. Sent to defend Okinawa against overwhelming odds, Yamato fought on despite relentless attacks from American carrier aircraft. After sustaining numerous bomb and torpedo hits, she sank in a massive explosion.

You've heard of Bismarck, but have you heard of the Japanese battleship Yamato? She was the largest battleship ever built, symbolising Japan’s naval power during World War II before she was sunk in 1945 during her final mission.

Amazing job now we just gotta wait for the Iowa class or even make one of the tirpitz lol
@Storkie70 no first must be the grey ghost herself enterprise.
@pokebreeder2517I’d love that but we have the Bismarck and now the Yamato but we need the Iowa
Amazing song 😊 I am happy, because we back to WWII. I have hope, to hear one of my propositions for the song 😊
Perfekt 🎉
Bismark, Dreadnought, Yamato
After all these years, Finally we have them all. - Grunkle Stan
What about the CV-6 (USS Enterprise "The Grey Ghost") or the USS Nevada that survived 2 nukes.
Need the Big E.
mighty Mo is required !
The great coral reefs that they are.
*Looks over at the Iowa-class battleships.*
I´ll create a playlist consisting of Yamato, Bismark and Dreadnought and call it "Sabatons best relation-ships".
Waiting
Add midway pls
Don't forget Wolfpack
@Lt.PotatoStudios & @Saloteria_d
Read again and look for the joke.
Angry upvote
2:48 "She will rise again". This is a Space Battleship Yamato reference and I refuse to believe otherwise.

YAMATOOOO
I need them to do a cover of the theme in their style SOOOO bad.
@williammobley9634 maybe once the release a vinyl they can do it on the B-side
She will rise again in the end of days when the seas give up their dead. So long as we maintain the light of reverence and she does not lie forgotten in the depths, corruption cannot claim her machine-spirit and her crew shall have a path to salvation.
Bismarck and Dreadnought are getting some rivalry
No, Bismarck and Dreadnought more better than this
Now we want, USS North Carolina or Iowa
This is better than dreadnought
can we have Temper, Temper as well?
@bormann64

Ya era hora de completar la trilogía de los barcos xD
@ssanneentransicionabismarc3564 you forgot one more ship... USS MISSOURI
@kshtah726 What epic thing Missouri did that worth a song?
@StArShIpEnTeRpRiSe maybe you should look up on the uss Missouri and read up on that…
@StArShIpEnTeRpRiSe Look at it's track record. Or dare i say USS Texas. Both of those ships have long and historical records in their own rights. Like one instance, USS Missouri bombarded Failaka Island in 1991 during the iraqi war. USS Texas helped the D-Day Invasion with the coastal bombardment while the ship was listing to improve the range by the ballast tank. Don't take my words for it just look it up.
日本人として、最大の感謝と敬意を示します。
👋
Taichou there is a version of yamato! In space!!
WHAT!
2:10 The solo in this song is fire.
Sounds like Tommy, which is not surprising as he is credited as the songwriter of this song. 👍
@matthewmac5787 He is though, just check yourself before you speak.
Glad you like it!!
Ya tengo un nuevo tono de llamada
It just clicked ... Idk why but it feels right 😅
「ヤマト」の名前は、今も偉大なる象徴として我が国に輝いております。日本人として最高級の感謝を。
And it still rots at the bottom of the ocean with its army of scumbags trapped aboard
@CzerwonyDan Wow. What ruined your day?
@CzerwonyDanYou got some real issues. Still it is better than some ship spending its life humping the seabed
@CzerwonyDan chill out wojack nobody cares about you
@CzerwonyDan 🤦♂wie armselig und dumm kann man eigentlich sein?
If there isn't a single Space Battleship Yamato AMV with this song by next week I shall be very disappointed with the internet.
New chapter just got released today too, it's just the perfect Friday
What do you think the "she‘ll rise again" line is a reference to? 😅
@Exodon2020 It's pretty vague but I imagine it's just a case of you not being able to keep a good legend down, but as a fan of said anime, I'm with you in spirit.
why don't we get a Space Battleship Yamato cross over with Warships. that would be dope
@Rybo-Senpai World of Warships had already a Space Battleship Yamato Event irrc
2018年の来日ライブで初めて見た時からずっとファンです。日本で「ヤマト」を一緒に歌える日を楽しみにしています。そしてぜひ「ヤマト」が作られた呉の地に足を運んでください。
Yamato Museum!
I can only think how "she will rise again" is a reference to Space Battleship Yamato Anime where they raise it again and make it a literal spaceship with laser guns ❤
Yeah having listened to to it there's no way it isn't, there's literally no reason for that line to be there otherwise.
The song genuinely reminded me of Space Battleship Yamato especially with the Japanese lines. I'm pretty certain at least one of the four of those lines have actually been said in the series. lol
@Hungeryanmight be. I'm fairly sure the Japanese lines were from ww2 radio communication, and maybe the series originally referenced that
@Hungeryan úristen. léteznek magy SBY fanok
That sounds like a plot of Gloryhammer song
If an amv for Space Battleship Yamato using this song doesn’t appear in the next few days, I’ll be greatly disappointed in the internet
mission acepted.
One just came out lmao

日本から最大級の感謝を.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you SABATON!!!!!
My dear Sabaton, I beg of you! When it is time to do the Enterprise, do the Grey Ghost as much justice as you did for the Bismarck and Yamato!
I'd absolutely love to hear a song about the Enterprise
AND THE IOWA'S
They won't be ready to write such a song properly until they have read both volumes of The First Team by Lundstrom.
I'm sure they'll do one!
Don't forget the grand old lady HMS Warspite
Hear me Sabaton: The Spanish Reconquista.
Sí por favor
That would be so Cool
Or the spanish inqusition xD
That's actually not a bad idea at all.

perfect time to refresh the homepage
I love how I made a jokeful comment on either this or the music video about the song accidentally restarting japanese militarism and it got deleted
Thank you for employing real graphic artists to make these videos. You have no idea how appreciated it really is.
They always did. People just made up the Legends AI drama.
Oh no, I was more calling out bands like Primal Fear which used AI to make album covers.
@Perseus7567 Legends did use AI, and this is probably also AI
@datcheesecakeboi6745 If legends did, they still employed an artist to make it as confirmed by the band. But I and many others opinions are that it was not AI.
@kousand9917 so.. the artist they hired either just wrote prompts and isnt an artist or.. he is just terrible
watch the video for the cycle of songs or look at the album cover for legends, either the artist doesnt know history or its AI
ヨアキム様は自分の感情を伝えるなら スウェーデン語が一番伝えやすい言っていた。どうかスウェーデン語でyamatoを歌って欲しい
Let’s gooo! Can’t wait for the music video later
100% Sabaton! Can't wait
You know with how War Gaming used to do all those Yamato ads for World of Warships they have to do it!
@superspaceman34 I believe war gaming have somewhat already alluded to that they have done the music video for it as there is a collaboration in world of warships with sabaton starting tomorrow and it included Joakim as a captain and a new skin for the Yamato(tech tree version and not that clone released last year for the operation Ten-Go damaged variant)
The next ship needs to be Enterprise.
What about some of the Iowa class battleships?
To go where no man has gone before
The most decorated US carrier to sail the seas. Better known by the name " The Grey Ghost". ThAt would be a great song!
@Jaxso_-Nunfortunately they really do much. North Carolina or one of the south dakota classes make more sense
Now Im waiting song for Enterprise(CV-6), Johnston and Warspite
Enterprise and Warspite better be *really* good, i dont think their spirits would settle for anything less
the Johnston and Samual B Robert's would be excellent in their own rights, but what about the one ship that saw the entire war and served in nearly every battle? USS Helena.
USS Laffey (DD-724)
need warspite asap
Enterprise could be cool and there are a number of ways you could take it, from a song about forgetting your heroes in that she got scrapped for razor blades (still the most criminal decommissioning in history. Should be her not the intrepid in NY harbor) to something about how enterprise is a very storied name for a naval ship, both British and American.
Midway Vibes
It has a mix of ghost division, dreadnought, and shiroyama
First Bismarck, then Dreadnought and now Yamato. As much as i love every single song, the one's about the ships really intrigue me. I know it might be a bit much to ask but I'd really love for them to do one about the USS Enterprise.

Ты, наверное, первый человек, увиденный мной, кто поставил портрет Макиавелли на аватарку
@sam1y_luchshiy_chel
Isn't he a great philosopher?
@Rsr-s1f многие люди, прочитавшие только "Государя" считают Макиавелли плохим, а портреты таких людей на аватарки не ставят
@sam1y_luchshiy_chel
He was very realistic and understood human beings
USS JOHNSTON, "FINALLY! A WORTHY OPPONENT!"
It needs his own song!
“This is going to be a fighting ship. I intend to go in harm's way, and anyone who doesn't want to go along had better get off right now.”
“I hear no bell.”
- USS Johnston
@Franz0818 "...this is going to be a fighting ship. I intend to go in harm's way, and anyone who doesn't want to go along had better get off right now"~Commander Ernest Evans. True to his word, he charged the enemy fleet.
"OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY!"
You are sooo inspiring to me and I love your music and I have been listening to Sabaton for about 4 years keep going and never give up
ありがとう!!!めっちゃ嬉しい!!!
Space Battleship Yamato 3199 episodes released today on the west and Sabaton also dropped this today
What a treat.
Gonna wait for the AMV.
How much episodes released?? All at one time??
@alexsafian8355 unfortunately no, it's only 4 episodes like last time.
my thoughts exactly
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!
Previously, King of Ocean Bismarck.
Now, the Queen of Ocean Yamato.
Empress*
Bismarck, Dreadnought, Yamato. GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL!
I haven't seen the wisconsin or the missouri yet... but I know them well enough to know that they are coming.
@leechowning2712 Aside from the famous Big Guns, there are also some "underdog" destroyers worthy of song, like the Johnston or Shigure. The smaller ships often get neglected in popular culture as they are less impressive in size and firepower, but I suppose this band has a knack for picking up lesser known subjects from history, too
They havent got a HMS dreadnought song
Damn right! 🤘
@Sabaton Holy. Sabaton first time replied to my comment. You are the best guys!
We need more songs on the pacific theater!
I mean like Coral Sea, Guadalcanal, Savo island/Iron bottom sound etc.
Great work sabaton! Can't wait to hear the next track you all put out
Man is the 14th army a joke to you.
@Sugster_historian
I just gave some simple ones to pull from
You're free to add more if you want mate
Iron Bottom Sound would make a great song, and it honestly already sounds like a metal song.
The Battle off Samar is also a necessary battle to cover. I don't think any other engagement so perfectly captures the Indomitable American Spirit
I NEED a Pacific War album
Id also add the Doolittle Raiders, USS Tang (by far the most successful submarine in history), USS Enterprise, (By far the most successful ship in history), Richard Halsey Best (the only person to sink 2 ships in 1 day), Philippine Sea (Largest Carrier Battle in history, fully turned the tide of war in the US favor), and finally with Sabaton covering the tragedy of war I will also include Unit 731 (One of the most cruel and destructive things humanity has ever done).
@weeb3244facts!
We need an 10 hours version ASAP!!!
I would love an album about naval battle and admirals.
Some suggestions:
-Battle of Salamis.
-Battle of Lepanto
-Battle of Jutland
-Battle of Tsushima
-Battle of Cartagena
-Raid on the Medway
-Pearl Harbor
-Yi Sun-Sin
-Horatio Nelson
-USS Enterprise
Lars Gatenhielm is a Swedish legendary one.
Worldwide naval and piracy history album would to hard honestly
To be fair, templars and rubicon were merged into legends, so we are likely getting a japan OR naval album now
@Filipos390i hope naval, personally hoping on them covering Yi Sun Shin (a Korean admiral who went undefeated against Japan's fleets with his iconic turtle ships)
@regalblade8171Yi deserves a LOT more recognition than he gets in the West. Guy was the greatest admiral who has ever lived.
Imagine hearing this echoing over foggy and "empty" waters
日本人としてsabatonの皆さんに感謝いたします。
有難うございます。
Absolutely MYTHICAL refresh pull.
Never been to a Sabaton song this early.
1945年本日14時23分、大和は長い眠りにつき、次は地球を救うために宇宙戦艦として蘇ります。
Bismarck - asserts dominance wherever He goes, goes Down with grace.
Dreadnought - dreads nothing of that and goes on.
Yamato - Young, eager, ready to go with a blaze, regretting nothing.
At least that's how their songs makes me imagine them
At least that's how their songs
Pretty much.
Dreadnought: Start of an era, first of her kind, true dreadful innovation.
Bismarck: Summit of the period's technology, cream of the crop, terrifying sea raider.
Yamato: Colossal display of propaganda and power, as large and mighty as a battleship can get, but also, the end of an era, born for the wrong conflict and died too early.
the perfect couple. He the Bismarck and Her the Yamato
Dreadnought never got a song and Bismarck didnt go down gracefully 😂 Bismarck was a closed casket
Also Yamato was older then Bismarck.
@datcheesecakeboi6745I say what the songs make me imagine, not how the hard reality was.
ah yes, the only ship in the Imperial Navy with a targeting radar
Their cv's got radar before a lot of their crusiers did.
"Break the rules to rule the waves" Japan breaking the navy treaty after WW1 to build even bigger ships
"Guts and Guns resist the darkness down below where legends lie" Thats such an awesome reference to the HOod, Bismarck and so many incredible warships in history
Directly pressed
Alright now the USS new Jersey!
Mighty Mo the only one who ever fired shots in anger, right?
@TheKnightGravy "Temper, temper!"

Here we go boys!!!!!

Edit: Jesus Christ this was good ❤️❤️❤️
Sabaton: let's write a song about the Yamato
Her sister ship, the Musashi: am I a joke to you
Yamato:"Sorry sis, I am the Top G !"
Shinano: 😓
Shiroyamaを聞いてSabatonが好きになりました。
他にもThe Last StandとTo Hell and BackとChristmas Truceが好きですが、
今回のYamatoも魂が震える素晴らしい曲でした。
Christmas Truceは最高傑作だと思いますね。
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO!!!!
サバトンが作った船乗りソングのプレイリストを作ればいいじゃないか。これも最高だ。
As a Japanese, I dreamt about this since Bismark was released, and in 8 years, hear it is.
Sadly I don't think Yamato ever actually sank anything important. Bismark got the Hood.
Wait, it's been 8 years since Bismarck???
Except for one us escort carrier, yeah
@nursestoyland Was it Gamby?
Me too :D
Here within a minute gang
The best armored submarine in history. Shame about the fact it wasn't meant to be a submarine.
"no retreat" Captain Ernest Evans would like a word.
Still need a song about Enterprise, Warspite and the battle off samar
space battleship yamato would be a perfect anime to mix with this
If it were anything like Bismarck or Dreadnought I'd agree. Sorely disappointed with this one. Feels like they sold out to Wargaming/World of Warships for a collab on this one.
@sultanofsauce9816 Didn't the collaborated with a game for Bismarck?
long live the EMPEROR
かっこよすぎる
Finaly, Sabaton have their own anime opening now.
Bismarck, Yamato, dreadnought. All we need are the Iowas, hood, and Big E and we are set
fr
HMS Dreadnought never actually got a song
Uh no as the Iowa is utter garbage compared to the Yorktowns.
@darth3911Yorktown is a carrier not a battleship. Why are the Iowas garbage? A relative of mine thought "Big Wisky" was a cool ship to be on back in the early 90s.
@dalefisk7667CV5 and CV6 were far more vital to the U.S. and contributed more to the U.S. victory.
I am not saying the Iowas are literal garbage what I am saying is compared to the Yorktowns in bringing a U.S. victory they didn’t do as much.
I specifically use the term garbage as it gives a clear distinction of the level of contribution between the Iowas and Yorktowns.
"The Yamato is Loaded... And so am I" - Terran Battlecruiser Captain
Nice lemon pfp you got there.
I did expect someone cultured gentleman leaving this quote here.
Can't wait to sink lots of hours into learning EVERYTHING about the Yamato. Thank you Sabaton for fueling my history passion!
her 2199 refit is also worth investigating
@basztiancooper Don't forget the 1974 Yamato documentary series either.
I see that you have... Motivation. And knowledge... Brings you power.
@basztiancooper God Damn, I love this community. lol
See my post. The Jan Morris book has always held a prominent place on my shelf.
Wow, here are more Japanese incoming than in Pearl Harbor.
ドイツよりご挨拶と敬意を表します。
I'm actually building a Lego yamato set and this is what I'm listening to on repeat while building it
Bismark and Yamato were the best great song!
This is Yamato by Sabaton.
You now need to make album "Navy" with Dreadnought and Bismark!
Upd: "Steel leviathans" album, YEAHH!!!
Problem is, only Bismarck is single. Dreadnought is in the War to End All Wars
@RogelioTambadocJr Yeah, but for ecsample, dreadnought is in albums 'Weapon Of The Mondern Age" and also in "The War To End All Wars"
That'd be a wonderful idea, but for a fitting name...
What about...
"Steel leviathans"
@ResckyoYEAAAAAAA! Dude, it is AWESOME idea!!
It's fascinating that the most feared ships, Bismarck and Yamato, never really had the impact they were meant to have.
Bismarck was hunted down by almost an entire country's navy and was extremely hard to take down, but aside from a lucky one-shot hit on the Hood, it didn't have much more impact on the war.
The Japanese were so afraid of losing the Yamato that they didn't let it fight in any real battles. In the end, it had even less impact than the Bismarck.
But considering what both ships are capable of, I have a feeling the allies were glad these ships had the fate they had.
Just put yourself in the shoes of an Allied sailor, your ships will face the Yamato, a 460mm gun ship, or you have to face the Bismarck, the ship that sank the mighty Hood in a single shot(be it lucky or not).
Sadly, we cannot restore them and have them as a museum ship.
The embodiment of "wasted potential"
If only they were used to the maximum output they could unleaah, how many terrific battles would be still told today
With the Bismarck one could argue that wasting resources and time of the British was a contributing cause. Another argument is it was a waste. Like having your dream car to only be a garage princess
@Samuel-jn2oc The problem is when they were built. There was almost no way for them to be unleashed to their maximum potential because they were simply outclassed by carriers. It's kinda sad, because big gun go boom makes monkey brain happy. But it is what it is.
it wasnt so much a matter of afraid of loosing their ships, Yamato and Musashi were so fuel hungry that Japan didnt have the fuel to spare and she was so big Yamato and her sister couldnt really fit into the operations the IJN found themselves in during the pacific war. Yamato actually sailed for battle in early '42 to deliver a massive blow to the US, but thanks to code breakers and one HELL of an effort by the workers at Pearl and USS Vestal, that blow was actually on the Japanese and Yamato was forced to turn back or risk her and her fleet along with a landing force being sent to the bottom of the pacific thanks to naval air power from the remaining US Carriers.
Guadalcanal was not conducive to Yamato's well being and the IJN's only option was small, fast ships to slip in during the night and retreat back to fortified positions where the American air power couldn't touch them. 1943 saw more island hopping and again, the fuel crisis for Japan was a major factor as well as to why Yamato and Musashi didnt see any action, along with her being used as a troop transport due to her size.
With the end of '44 approaching and the Americans landing at Layte, Yamato and Musashi would finally set sail for war and the results were.... Not good. Musashi was sunk due to a new wave of American Carriers that finally came operational and with that, IJNs days were numbered. Admiral Kurita, in charge of Operation Sho-Go was also not given any ability to classify the smaller ships of the Americans and when they encountered the support ships of Taffy 3, Kurita thought the Escort Carriers were fleet carriers and by scale the escorting destoyers and destroyer escorts were cruisers, and proceeded to load Armor Piercing rounds and lobbed them at Taffy 3. The resulting actions of the destroyers helped reinforce this notion as USS Johnston shot and landed torpedos putting the Kumano completely out of action and forcing another cruiser to render assistance. During the entire battle Johnston harrassed the IJN Center force, and as if to add insult to injury, USS Samual B Roberts started slugging it out with the crusier Chokai and set her superstructure on fire from bow to stern. Kurita, thinking he had sunk two fleet carriers and several cruisers, along with the IJNs cruisers Chikuma, Chokai and Suzuya being sunk or scuttled, retreated. This was Yamato's only chance to do what she was designed to do.
After that, her fate was either sit in dock at Kure or be targets for american torpedo and dive bomber planes. The IJN chose the latter and operation Ten-Go commenced, intending to beach her off of Okinawa and use her as a coastal artillery battery, one that could stop/delay American landing forces.
Yamato and her sisters were built in an era where the battleship was almost useless and a sitting duck to either submarine warfare (See Shinano) or naval air power (See Yamato and Musashi). Even American battleships didnt really get to see any naval battles and were mostly used as sea based artillery support for landings.
The yamato was a failure yes but its one of my favorite ships that just scream imposing ..she was larger than the bismark with the largest guns ever mounted on a ship..
But to think the ship builders the engineers behind her design to get such a massive boat to float . Is what i love about it . 😊
サバトンありがとう!この勢いで次は宇宙戦艦の方もお願いします。
Please don't let this be the closest Sabaton gets to making a song about the Battle off Samar; where a tiny US Navy escort task force made the greatest last stand in naval history against Yamato's Center Force battlegroup and fecking won.
While that is up there, the best last stand in naval history is Yi Sun Sin’s stand with 12 ships against over 500 in the Imjin War (I unfortunately forget the battles name. Mnemyong I believe?)
Stand fast Taffy 3!!

素晴らしい曲をありがとうございました。
Absoulte Sabaton ✋😔✋
The Yamato class consisted of three ships. Yamato, Musashi, and Shinano(built and converted into an aircraft carrier in complete secrecy). There were supposed to be two more members of the class that were cancelled and never named. There was even a successor class of battleships that were to be even bigger than the Yamato. But those were never built. Kind of like the German H class battleships that were supposed to succeed the Bismarck class. The Montana class battleships that were supposed to succeed the Iowa class. And the Lion class of Britain.
It's rather ironic that IJN, which was the first to realize what naval air power could do, spent so much resources for ships which in the end achieved really nothing.
Resources pretty much wasted on Yamato-class could have no doubt allowed building many large fleet carriers.
Besides obviously stronger start of war strike capability that would have allowed maintaining operational numbers when some went into repairs or were lost.
Unlike US, Japan simply didn't have massive shipbuilding capacity to match attrition/battle losses.
And really same for Hitler's Germany.
Resources spent on battleships would have given many more submarines to start the war with allowing far more effective strangling of shipping needed by Britain in time when anti-submarine measures/convoys hadn't yet evolved up to necessary level to counter submarines.
@tuunaes well yamato and musashi were completed before the second world War began, and it became apparent that carriers were the future. hence why you see many examples of stop gap measures and conversions from the Japanese.
Kaga, Shinano, Akagi, ise, hyuga, ryuho, etc...
@thezestylime0989 Shinano was converted at the end of the war (started after the battle of Midway)
She was not even completed thanks to the USS Archerfish
@thezestylime0989 personally I think the Kido Butai carrier group should have gotten a song.
To add to what you said. The fourth member Hull-111 was built around the same time as Shinano. Both had their construction paused due to the sinking of HMS Prince of Wales & HMS Repulse calling into question the usefulness of battleships. After the losses of at the Battle of Midway both were considered to be converted into CVs. However, only Shinano resumed construction due to the immense amount of resources needed to complete both. Hull-111 was scrapped and her metal used help complete Shinano as well as refit other ships.
next we need the Enterprise
And after that we could have Varyag for Russia, to complete the nation-ship Pentalogy.
@NickAndriadze If we go with WW2 theme, won't one of the Ganguts more fitting? Or was there a WW2 Soviet ship named Varyag?
SABATON WEEBS, UNITE!!!!!

Can't wait for the Iowas. All 4 in one song.
Verse 1 for Iowa
Verse 2 For New Jersey
Verse 3 for Missouri
Verse 4 for Wisconsin
We desperately need a USS Johnston one.
I've been studying the Japanese language for 6 years now, and hearing the actual language spoken in a Sabaton song actually made me emotional lol.
Under an hour gang
👇
33 minutes. Nice.
I've been waiting since Monday gang
Right here
NO, GUTS AND GUNS RESIST THE DARKNESS!
I was waiting for the song about 1,000 Filipino army vs 40,000 Chinese and north Korean army, the battle of yultong
Bismarck 10/10❤
Yamato 10/10❤
Sabatonありがとう。大好きです❤
SABATON JAPAN POLAND❤️🇵🇱🤍🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
This ain't beating the aura of the Bismarck video
the only one missing is the USS Enterprise (CV-6) the most decorated ship in the history of the US Navy
I’d say the Texas is needed as well. Last surviving WW1 Battleship in existence and fought in every major US campaign in World War II. Not bad credentials for a Sabaton song.
@SteelCommanderCat Add USS Samuel B Roberts, USS Johnston and ORP Piorun to that list
@benterbenter9281 ORP piorun?
Now we need a song about the USS New Jersey!
In 2199, Yamato rises again
Sounds like a badass boss battle song. I freakin love it.
Woke up, and the first thing I did was listen to this.
A good start of the day!
Same 😜🔥
Same as well
Bismark 💀😰
Yamato ☠️🥵
This song makes me feel like the storm that is approaching.
now i'm feeling motivated!
