I am a husband, a father, and a grandfather, and everyone with whom I share those designations with all live in the same home. I see it all as who I am. I have surrendered to the practice of non-duality, and am able to live among all these "others" non-reactively. Put in laymen's terms, I'm the only non-dualist of the bunch, but in a way, as long as there's one, that's all it takes for things to work out. These words don't really describe anything as it IS, but you might be able to understand what I can only attempt to describe.

Really describes my relationship with my daughter… for me the role of the ‘good mother’ I always felt tremendously guilty and responsible for everything difficult that happened in her life
A feeling will arise of nebulous guilt and regret .. sometimes very strong ,heavy but as the me dissolves all the identification with this role dissolves and a lightness is growing between us.

I didn't know that they didn't know. Ho, ho, holy shat ain't that a doozy of a realization. It was something that I came to see in everybody. Life feels lonely before understanding that and in a way it's profoundly lonely after but the loneliness after isn't the same. There's a recognized peace in the solitude that I now guard. The thoughts and beliefs and ideologies are quite something to behold outside ourselves when we recognize them inside ourselves. Any rehabilitation from the small to the all comes with a recognition that being in another's presence either requires them to grow or forever be at a distance personally from myself.
It's also much easier to just talk normally. Folks will get it sooner or later and it's something they can stumble upon but that stumbling just requires contemplation and helps in the end. Thanks for putting this on video. I do delight in seeing these recognitions in others.

Yes, my father died recently and it didn't affect me at all. Why should it? He didn't like me and I didn't like him! Now a psychologist will say, 'Oh you'll turn out a dysfunctional human being if you don't address those surpressed emotions' or something along those lines. But look at how the mind works. It first present you with a fact, something that actually happened, in other words Life itself. If the mind left it at that there would not be an actual problem. But the mind doesn't do that, what it does is it starts to spin a variety of opinions about the actual fact, it's these opinions that create the emotions, the human suffering, but we don't actually have to listen to the mind. Why? Because we are always the Sovereign Being, we never left that, it would be impossible. Nisargadatta was the ultimate therapist, he undestood perfectly. 'Love all of the dream, or none of the dream, but don't divide the dream'.

Acceptance of whatever is “inside” us is not conditional on whether things work out well or not. At least not in my experience.
Sometimes truth mends and heals and resolves. Sometimes it destroys in ways that we cannot know the ultimate effect.

@@macparker3549 I can't claim it was courage that made my explosion happen lol. I was going through a troublesome situation already, a former tenant/roommate of mine who had problems, poured gasoline in his room and tried to light himself on fire, killing himself, and possibly blowing the whole damn house up, which would have blown me and the other 3 tenants up. We had to get put up in a hotel for 3 days and that wasn't long enough for us to return du to the fumes, a month prior to this, my mother injured herself doing something stupid, (standing on a plastic flimsy flowerpot that can't stand 10lbs of weight, and she fell and bruised her ribs. She didn't like that I didn't react to her injury and situation how she wanted me to in her head. So while I was at the hotel talking to her, she just had to twist the whole thing to be about her still. She can't let go and move on from shit, she can't take accountability from her own stupidity. I came 3 minutes away from being blown up according to the firefighters and, and yet she was still mad at "me" for not handling her situation a month prior how she wanted. So before I could even try to hold back and resist the explosion like I had for years and years, it just went off. I cussed her out, called her out a=on her female manipulation tactics, her gaslighting and told her that if she didn't flip a 180 and change I was done with her. It wasn't courage, it was her lighting the fuse and it blowing up in her face lol. Those "feelings" were one of the last remaining egoic fragments my old character had.

The last step? There is no last step with enlightenment, unless you refer to the final page of the story. The character's physical death. In which case rushing to the end of the story would be strange. You don't read a book starting at the last page. Everyone gets to the end without any need to focus on it. As for suffering, who says she is suffering? There is no her? She doesn't exist lol. There will always be experiences that a fragment of ego will label as good or bad. Though suffering is a very helpful tool, without it a character in a story can't grow.

@@danielboomers No, I didn't say she HAS to grow. I said for a CHARACTER to grow it needs to suffer. A character in a story needs obstacles to overcome for character growth. But we enlightened nobodies are not characters, we can slip into a character if we wish to interact with the dream, for example if you wish to pet a dog, well you gotta toss together some egoic shell and form a character in that dream that can interact with the dog in the story. How does an author interact with the characters in their story? Can't, unless the author creates characters in the story to interact with the other characters. She doesn't exist, because she doesn't. You don't, I don't, nobody does. Everything is nothingness ad nothingness is everything. The "fact" you seem to be pushing so hard as if trying to frame you are an "expert" shows you have fallen into a pitfall trap of ego and have gone backwards. I'm not lost, there's no e. Nobody can ever be lost, as they are exactly where they are meant to be. Which is nowhere, and everywhere or anywhere. There is no "long way to go" for the apparent me. You seem more focused on turning this into a competition, that's not enlightenment. It's not about a goal or the finish line. You are still a child playing make believe.

Some days it's sunny, some are rainy, some are snow or windy or cloudy. It's not sunny every day. The asleep will always misunderstand and mislabel the enlightened.
