    Such an interesting and unique place. Beautiful in its own special way, but I've got to admit I would miss seeing trees if I lived there. I've never been, so I found your videos entertaining and informative and of course I also enjoyed seeing little Poppy's antics too. Thank you both.

    Orkney is certainly on my bucket list. Looks amazing. Interesting history with the connection to Norway (where I live). Their flag is almost alike the Norwegian flag. I’ve book a trip to Shetland for next, looking forward to that 😊

    I always thought “ what you want to go their for” well I was wrong as long as you have good weather it looks a lovely place and you are so lucky to be able to go their. Being a caravaner it’s not the place to go so maybe I should also buy a small Motorhome just for places like this.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo

      What always appealed to me was a Campervan to tow a caravan. Best of both then.

    So lovely to see your film of Orkney. I visited the same places and like you wished I’d had longer there. We went from Orkney on to Shetland. If I had to choose I think Shetland would be my favourite of the two but I loved Orkney and hope to go back to explore more of the islands. I can get seasick as I believe can Jenny bit the crossing form Orkney wasn’t too bad and the sailing back to Aberdeen was absolutely fine. We didn’t book a cabin as I thought I’d be too I’ll to use it but will certainly do so next time as the sleeping pods weren’t that comfortable.

    Good job on the reversing bob - do you have to reverse on to the ferry at John o Groats? - sorry if you covered it in this video but unsure from your comments thanks

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Год назад

      The John o' Groats ferry is a passenger ferry, so passengers and bikes only. I think you mean the Scrabster to Stromness ferry, which I believe is a Drive On, Drive Off ferry, though I haven't been on there with a motorhome.
