You might enjoy the Chanel 19 small size which is the same in capacity but doesn’t have a middle compartment…but the sides often come out even with the organizer so when you close the bag gaps open up between the sides the the top flap…
I have three college bags in the large size. Love them! The two finger slide works perfectly for me and I don’t have a problem opening. I actually love the magnet because I have seen several magnetic openings that don’t keep the bag secure. I also purchased longer chain straps from Dress Up My Purse so I could carry the large size crossbody. Thanks for sharing!❤❤❤
I have this bag in black lambskin in the large size. I've had it for 3 years and it is very durable. Not a scratch or anything. I love it! It is such a comfortable bag to use, especially with the back pocket! The divider inside the large size is more useful because the space in the back is bigger. Thanks for your review!

I did a lot of research about the bag before I purchased it two months ago and somebody mentioned to put a clear tape on the magnetic closure to make it easier to open. I hope this helps. I absolutely love this bag. Your color choice in this bag is so pretty. My dilemma with this bag is I prefer the large size, but it's only a shoulder bag. I want to be able to wear it crossbody. I already have 2 small loulous, so getting the college bag in medium is redundant to me. If I can find a solution to the strap issue, I'll eventually get the large college bag.
I love the colour. It’s so beautiful. I own a flap bag with very soft leather and it has the central zip compartment too. Initially I found it annoying but after having used it a lot for a year and a half I can now understand why they put it there. It supports the structure. My bag still looks great but I have seen other bags with soft leather and no central compartment and as they get older the sides collapse and spread and the whole bag looks like a melted ice cream. That would be very upsetting.

I think it could've been the color combination so I still might try it in a different color or hardware in the future. Meanwhile, I recently ended up getting the Mini Lock Me Ever from LV instead & so far I'm really liking it in the greige color with gold hardware. I wish this bag had a back pocket, but it does have feet & it doesn't have the middle compartment so it is more roomy than it seems. I also love the pink color inside & the beautiful chain. I ordered the Rosalie wallet in the cream color to use with this bag based on your recommendations. I do own the Zoe wallet in canvas so it will be interesting to see if I like this one better😊.

Regarding the very tough opening, I saw a video where the owner had glued transparent protection stickers or Tesa film to the magnets and said it made it so much easier. I had the same issue with the magnet on my LV, it was a struggle to open it every time and voila one day the flap came away with the magnet😢 so be wary of pulling it too hard!
