Yeah they put extra water in it to make more juice per serve. But even if they didn't most will make a lot of juice in one setting and keep it stored for less work.
You should go to shop where they actually put in sugarcane and extract the juice. Now that's the fresh one. You ll find it everywhere. What you had is not the fresh one. Probably it might taste just like jaggery water.😅
