Swimming pool rebar corrosion. Watch the rebar stain/ bleed drip down the wall

Many people see a rebar stain and say that the "rebar is sticking out of the wall". The rebar is not physically sticking out of the wall but rather, as it corrodes inside the gunite it turns into a corrosive gas. Over time, this gas breaks down the cement around it until it makes its way to the surface and bubbles out as illustrated in the video.
