A lot of soapmakers on youtube seem to do is put their colors into squeeze bottles and extend the spouts with pipette tips, so they can squeeze their colors straight into the mold. Your trace might be a little a little thick, but there's also something to be said for moving quickly. It looks really pretty anyways!!
