Thank you so much for your valuable advice on pulling the trigger at constant speed. That was my mistake that you call as "Now syndrome" Very helpful technique. Thank you Sir
Great video you described my error to the detail... I’m a “now” puller on my DA/SA pistol. I shoot my striker fired very well but struggle with the double action pull. Now I have something to practice at the next range session
Well done sir, straight to the point on every subject. No wasted time. Just what I expected from the man Who created the best Beretta lately the 92 LTT.
I practice double action with my revolver, just shoot 50 rounds only in double action. You get used to it very quick. Commit to the trigger pull, the more confident you are, the more accurate you are and the more natural it feels. If you slow down or anticipate the "bang" it doesn't feel right.
Hello, new shooter here. So when you say "steer the front sight through the rear notch", does that mean that it is ok for the front sight to wobble as you're pulling back the trigger? I end up doing this when I fire... I am centering the sight on the target as I am pulling back the trigger. I always thought that this was a bad habit and I should my sights on target before I even begin pulling the trigger and then keep them from moving at all while I pull. Is this different for double action?
I think what he was talking about was your finger position on the trigger and your trigger technique. He is saying to pretend with your trigger finger that you are pulling the front sight through the rear sight (basically pull straight with your trigger finger so that the gun doesn't steer to either side). At least that's what I understood from it. Pretend your trigger finger is pulling the front sight through the rear sight notch as straight and true as possible.
Really? How is it possible that someone who has shot a double action gun doesn't know this? I'm 17, I have a double and single action airgun revolver and I have spent maybe 4h on shooting it overall, and of course most of the time I use single action, and yet I haven't seen anything new here. This is still a good instructive video.
Straight to the point, no chatter, loved it.

I'd love to visit Italy someday 😀

i cant believe how much that last statement instantly improved my dry fire
Excellent tips to help my double action revolver shooting. Have always staged the trigger.
Thanks.
I used to think DA/SA was not for me until I shot a Px4 storm at my local range. Now, I have 3 and love to shoot them. Love the videos.
Thanks Ernest.
Thank you so much! Helpful video!
Excellent points, no pun intended. Thanks for the info.
Great stuff as always, EL!
Great info, keep it coming!
Is that a standard 90-series hammer on that PX4? Why does Mr. Langdon prefer it over the stock PX4 hammer?
I shoot better in DA, it forces me to focus on keeping the front sight on the target.

In other words you will either shoot slow an accurate or fast an inaccurate.
I have no clue what you're talking about because you didn't show the trigger
