Agreed. I don’t even listen to any new kpop artists other than bts or soloists who were once in groups during 1st or 2nd gen kpop. New kpop doesn’t have the energy, hype, and uniqueness older kpop had. Now it’s all some heavy beat edm cookie cutter formula or whatever that any group can sing depending on which label buys out from some expensive producer trying to get those big bucks... it’s sad
Jujur, sampai sekarang aku masih kesal sama agensi ini, agensi yang 'membuang' BF disaat nama mereka lagi naik-naiknya. Membuat BF fokus di JP, sampai mereka dilupakan di KR karena jarang comeback di negaranya sendiri. Benar-benar bersyukur karena BF masih bersama, tetap berenam tanpa melupakan satu anggota pun (tapi kalo sekarang lagi cuma berlima karena Youngmin ikut wamil). Hubungan mereka bukan kayak rekan kerja lagi, tapi udah seperti keluarga.
Seriously, BOYFRIEND was so popular on Korea way back 2012-2014. If only Starship promoted them correctly, they could have been one of the greatest boy group today like BIGBANG, EXO and BTS. And Starship could also have been grew like BigHit is right now. Unfortunately, they pushed BOYFRIEND to do japan promotions and they don't gave them korean comebacks. Starship you really done it wrong.
Janus is still one of my favorite kpop songs ever. I often come here and play this. But today, Starship announced Boyfriend's disbandment. I am truly heartbroken 😭😭 Im so sorry for their Bestfriends and I wish all the best for the boys. 😢

They did go to my country and were the 1st kpop act to go to my country actually, and my Aunt went I think it was around 2014, but I was too little and knew nothing about kpop only a few things about my aunt’s ult 🤷🏽♀️. Till today my biggest regret in life has been leaving kpop but at least I’m grateful that I’m into it 🤓
BOYFRIEND is so underrated T.T I knew them since 2011, they were the most popular make rookie group with B1A4. They could become very popular if they appear on more shows and more promotions, it's a pity that starship didn't value them enough and push them to the side and send them to Japan. Boyfriend and BAP being my bias groups back then. Like 2 groups of 6 who I found because I loved their sister groups (each a group of 4 btw) who DESERVED BETTER and were treated TERRIBLY and I will never forgive TS and Starship for them
