You Also Gotta Take In The Fact That The Airbus A300 A Twin Engine Jet That Can Carry A Similar Amount Of Passengers Released A Year Later And It Was Much More Fuel Efficient Than Both The DC-10 And L-1011 Along With The 1973 Oil Crisis Fuel Became More Expensive And Fewer Planes Would've Been Sold Due To Airlines Being Unable To Afford Enough Fuel For A Larger Fleet Of Aircraft.
