Hi Mat, you mentioned the USB Type-C in the back, I think you would like to know that there is something called "Power Delivery" it is actually a feature that allowing the charging port to "communicate" with the device you're charging and understand the exact voltage and ampere it requires. @@andrewmiller2478 what do you drive?
Hi Mat, you mentioned the USB Type-C in the back, I think you would like to know that there is something called "Power Delivery" it is actually a feature that allowing the charging port to "communicate" with the device you're charging and understand the exact voltage and ampere it requires. Without Power Delivery and USB Type-C (USB-A to USB-C won't work) you won't be able to charge new laptops such as the new Macbooks or any new laptop that comes with USB Type-C port.
It is actually means that BMW took the charging capabilities one step further and I admire them for that!!
BTW, it also allows for extremely quick charging time of new smartphones and the new Canon Mirorless cameras :)
BMW has always been ahead of the competition in terms of technology.
8 seconds ago. I was never as early for any other video of anyone ever.
I actually like how this BMW looks for a change.
The Burberry jacket looks great. 👌🏼
Thanks! I was wondering which brand it was.
alexahijado distinctive Burberry pattern lining.
Get one in 12-18 months when they all get handed back once the rental periods are up!
When the plastic water pump and thermostat isn't enough trouble for owners, bmw adds a new surprise mechanic feature which auto opens the grill to spice up the reliability once the warranties ends.
It's not just an in-depth review... it's an ULTIMATE in-depth review.
Drive it as a fleet car ! It’s a stunning car ! Love it !
Would much rather have USB-C! Wish my car had that.
That's what I was thinking, USB-C is the future!!
USB-C sucks.
Are you sure this particular car was rear wheel drive? I saw a clear Xdrive badge there😁😬
3:11 best way to end the year
My Friend just bought this yesterday and his loving it .
I’ve had an M340i for about 4 months now and I’m still in shock about how much better it is than my F30 335i in every possible way.
My only gripe is that my passenger (right, in the US) side door speaker just started rattling like crazy at any volume when the music is even slightly bass-y. I’m hoping I can either find a DIY for it, or have a dealership 😱 find a fix for me.
Finally a car which priorities Android over Apple
How so? It doesnt have android auto at all
Just because of the USB ports? Because the idrive doesnt support android auto at all while it does support carplay...
@@unuseableb well the new 2020 models will have Android auto
@@asadbekokhunjanov5255 Is that in the UK? If so my objection to buying one of these will disappear. Waze is such a good system that not being able to run unless you change to an Ios device means I wont buy one of these despite how impressive they seem
@@grahamholliday9962 long story short, read the pinned comment from carwow
Great review as always. Please do a review on the M340i just cant wait
Now I like BMW even more after watching carwow review
The ultimate driving machine no doubt in my mind
Terrific review. I’ve not seen anyone put child seats and a trunk full of luggage in a sedan. Very thorough and very well done!
13:01 why Matt laying across the seats like that? hahaha
Sometimes bad boys need spanking
😄😄😄🤣🤣
I've got a 330e m sport on order now, should have it by the end of January. Very excited!
JW how is it mate
How is it mate we all wonna know 😂
Hows the suspension? (assuming you didn't go the adaptive m sport suspension)
@@fredfredburger5150 the m sport non adaptive is softer than the F30 model. And if you go for the 18" wheels, they are non run flats which is a huge improvement. Sadly these are the positives. I came from the f30 which I liked more. Please check pedal position at 17:34 they are even more offset to the right than before. Sorry, I can't drive like that, his right foot on the throttle is pretty much flat to the floor. The M seats are pretty awful and the steering wheel is not quite centred as he mentioned (It was in the f30) . Probably due to safety reasons, they placed the seats more to the center of the car without changing steering wheel nor pedals. At my third 3 series after two F30 models might well be my last. After less than two months with the car, I am looking at various configurators from Lexus, Merc or even Hyundai.
BMW future proofing cars with USB-C ports...
Mat - STOP IT
Vihanga Rajalingam I know right!? Why on earth would he tell them not to future proof it?
I’m on his side on this one;)
He complained because *nobody* has C to C cables with their phone charger 🙄
"Future-Proofing" is a bonus, not a hindrance... This is "Present-Faffing" 😜
Stfu
Mat says that it's rear wheel drive, but why does it have an Xdrive badge...
Great review.. I want one oh so bad BuT waiting to see what the New M3 looks like (always wanted an M3). Keep up the great work, your reviews are stella!
Really want to see the m340i review
a great car, BMW knows and knows how to create a great product
Yup
No argument there.
Not a big BMW fan, but they sure do know how to make a solid car with all the features and looks.
(Apart from the 1 series team)
@@AmarHujan I'm a big BMW fan but yeah they sorta screwed up there
Front lights remains me of the e46 - Just way more aggressive. So nice to see some old design elements beeing refreshed
Got one last month it’s awesome best car I’ve owned. Brand new 43 grand got it for 26 with 5 thousand miles on the clock. M sport pro pack, comfort pack and x drive. Knocked the dealer down 700 pound over the phone.
What’s the mpg like
@@ryantaylor5482 I’ve gone from a 2.0 TDI Audi to the petrol BMW. It seems good on fuel it’s automatic so 8 speed gearbox. I travelled from London to Newcastle used 1/2 a tank pushed it after Leeds as well. A feature really good is when u download the app onto your phone it shows u where your car is. So I suppose if it gets stolen u can locate it.
Respect! This video was so smooth
I can hear Scotty from a distance saying "Stay away from that BMW"
Allan Flores
“A 1994 Toyota Celica is what you really want”
😂
But he's right tho... BMWs nowadays are shitty when it comes to reliability. It will cost u a fortune to maintain past the warranty.
@@AlexanderGeorge yeah but in overall German cars are great to drive and you have much fun driving them. But nowadays all new cars aren't very reliable because they have much electronics
*Endless money pit* 😂
Its only because of too much electronics & a bit of interior quality is also reduced.
Otherwise its the best german vehicle.
When you're in the back seats and go over a speedbump it is a painful experience
For a sporty car, yes
Review summary: "Yup, it's an M3."
Except for the diesel part
Its not a m3, its a 320d
320d*
I would love the 320i or 320d 2020 3 series
I think that it would be really good to hear a mention of what tyres come factory fitted to the car that you're reviewing.
Range Rover
2019 : nobody has usb-c to usb-c stop it
2024 : everybody has usb-c to usb-c, no more usb-a
😂😂😂
Finally,my Matt review my future car :D 😁
