After seeing this first episode this is now a bucket list trip! Stunning scenery. Well filmed Steve (I didn't hear any heavy breathing). Thanks Caroline and Tyson for sharing.
Hi guys thanks for the video I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next day. Has bought back many memories I remember the feeling of exhilaration getting to waterfall valley hut and feeling overwhelmed at what we had done and what was ahead 😊
Hey guys, great video! I hiked the Overland Track solo in Feb of this year, including the Pine Valley side trip. I was also lucky enough to have great weather the first day and summit cradle mountain. This video is just making me want to do it all again!
Hi Caroline, New series! Great! I had planned to hike this trail in December of this year, but Covid19 threw a wrench in that plan. Hopefully, by late 2021 we'll be back to (a new?) normal. When did you start the hike? When would you recommend starting weather-wise? How busy was the trail?
Hi Vered, really hope you can make it to do the Overland, it is stunning. It was actually my first ever overnight hike! I went in mid-April. It was school holidays, the huts were at capacity, but super cosy and nice. I loved all the people and we ended up being a big "hiking family" by the end of the trip. Weather-wise, it depends what temperature you like to walk in But Tassie is renowned to by anything and everything all year round - so prepare for sun, rain, wind and snow in the same trip! If you go in summer, the longer days might be nice.
Great production quality man! Nice to meet you today
It is one of the best hikes in the world, did in 2002 and I will be doing it again hopefully in December 2024
I walked this super track a long time ago back in 2003.i remember it so clearly. Watching your cool video brought back many happy memories
Another inspiring video. Thanks for sharing Caroline.
Thanks!
