💬One of my favorite heavy metal bands! That crash cymbal in the chorus! I have always heard that thing but it’s even sweeter with headphones on. Also the bass throughout the song is pretty badass.
Several of the reactor's audio and video were not quite synched perfectly so you may see some of that in the video. On a different note, I was inspired by Bruce's hair in this video and cut myself some bangs. Haven't had bangs in years. 🤣🤣😅😅
I hope you all enjoy this one and onto the next!💜
That might be my favorite song by IM glad to see JOJO and Bars n Barrbels. Thanks my friend ❤❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Another great video!!! Thanks Momma 😊
Fantastic!! What a song and so ahead of its time. To show both sides of a piece of history without censoring it, telling it like it was. So insightful. This was the first Iron Maiden song I ever heard. I was 16, it was 1984 and I’ve been a huge Maiden fan ever since! And glad to hear you like his bangs!!
Nice one momma. Love Maiden. Got my tickets for Charlotte NC , November 13th already ordered 🤘. Eddie Lives!!!
Been a busy few weeks for me, and not being able to catch your reactions and Mollys reactions has been tough.. but Iron Maiden have always been my favourite band, and this album has been #1 for me forever.. great reaction WonderMommaOG.. keep up the good work.
So glad to be featured on another video!!! Keep doing your thing, we’re here for it!! 🤘🏻🔥
Keep doing your thing too
@@user-kw3lu2br5pagreed!
MollyBoy! Haha. Great channel, huh?
SOOO AWESOME MOLLYBOY!!! 😊💓🔥🤘✌️
Blowing up boyo ☘️🇺🇲
Being indigenous this brings to light the atrocities that were committed to our people's in both US and Canada.
💯 😞💜 Sadly, these things keep happening all over the place. Perpetrated by humans onto other humans.
Don't think it only happened in the USA and Canada, happened in Mexico too, the Spanish killed more Indians than the English or the French or any other country from Europe in the Americas. They never get any blame because their skin is brown.
The whole album ,"Number of the beast" is insanely good.....
2nd ever full album I bought on cassette.
It's their best!!
Wow
Another memory maker from our childhood. I must say, born 1970, I grew up in the best time for music. We had it all!!!
We certainly did. 1970 was an excellent year.
Same here and I cannot agree more 👍
1970 born to and still rocking to maiden
1966 here. We sure did! BEST era of music in history!
R.I.P. Clive Burr A Legend
Amen.
One of my top 3 influences as a drummer.
Such a classic. The way Bruce stretches his voice and his storytelling are top notch.
No band celebrates history, literature, and cinema like Iron Maiden. The sheer amount of songs they have about historical events, legendary movies, and classic literature is astounding. Their lyricism is always extremely poignant as well
I agree mostly, but singing about history I have to give it to Sabaton.
@@tuijakantola6550 I'll be honest I think Iron Maiden has better lyrics. As far as history goes too, I feel like Iron Maiden does a wider range of historical subjects
@@tubbyduck5317 that just shows that you have never listened to Sabaton, who for years only done songs about historical events. They even have their own history Channel. I am old, I love Iron Maiden, listened to them since the eighties. But Sabaton beats them when it comes to songs about history.
I had never heard of The Crimean War til I heard The Trooper. Listen & learn, literally.
@@tuijakantola6550 I completely agree, I believe Iron Maiden paved the way for Sabaton to build upon their educational side.
I had the privilege of seeing "the boy's" from the beginning. First saw them in '75 at the Cart + Horses pub in Stratford (East London). To think, that this "little" band would become the global mega sensation they are. I'd have told you, you were crazy (mad as the Brits say. I'm American, btw).
Amazing! I was 3 years old in 75 and I'm super jealous you got to see them live. I loved this band since I first discovered them in the early 80's but Journey was about the hardest hitting band she would let me go see live. 😅
This is a phenomenal song, and one that tries to tell a short but powerful story about one of the biggest and worst genocides this world has ever seen. I lived through the 80s, when there was a moral panic about heavy metal bands. The thought was heavy metal sounded angry, so therefore it must be that they were preaching pure aggressiveness, hatred, perhaps evil. But what so much of the early heavy metal was about was anger against injustice, anger against unfairness, anger against atrocities, anger against corruption, anger against abuse. And this song might be the pinnacle, the best example, of this type of music.
One of the proudest moments of my life as a 20-something headbanger was when Dee gave it to Congress. That was so awesome. It was so awesome, they made a terrible movie out of it and I still have that movie and watch it happily.
Genocide is the DELIBERATE act of killing large amounts of people. It's estimated that 90-95% of Native Americans died from disease; Smallpox.
The Comanches were regarded as perhaps the most dangerous Indian Tribe. They actually attempted genocide, or the deliberate killing of many Indian tribes.🤘🏻
*This song tells a perspective from both sides.
My first introduction to them, via MTV. I was never the same. 😊
These kids dont know how the energy of the time was. They fueled a generation. And a maiden concert w the crowd singing along was like collective levitation.
Ahh, those Saturday nights with MTV and The Headbanger's Ball!!
I vividly remember getting this album shortly after it came out. I listened to it on my bed with the headphones on, over and over, just getting lost in the amazing cover artwork. Not only do I think that this is Maiden's best album, I think this is one of the best heavy metal albums ever!!
Hello WonderMommaOG, please continue with these compilations of reactions I am from Brazil and here, unfortunately, they don't give much value to rock and metal like they do in Europe and North America. As a Metalhead, I'm very happy seeing people who enjoy the same type of music as me. Thank you very much for your work here on RUclips
Yeah the song is meant to say how wrong it was to attack the Indians the way the settlers did. I’m Choctaw and have always loved this song because Bruce doesn’t mince words. He says it straight.
Please don’t stop what you are doing, this feeds my soul. Thank you.☺️
That's effing amazing to hear. Thank you for letting me know, that makes me feel amazing.
My favorite IM song, Bruce has one of the best voices in metal and rock. Great job as always. Hope all is well.
Every Native i knew back in the day loved this one in my part of the world. 🤘
Next Maiden song should definitely be Number of the Beast! Most people won't figure out the hidden meaning in that one. The band explained it on a small metal show in the UK back in '85. I won't spoil it for anyone, but you'll have to do a deep dive to find it.
Daamn one of my favorites growing up, I remember when they would start this song LIVE, the place would go insane,...I cannot thank you enough for making me listen to my youth again and getting to enjoy these generations getting to discover them as well, what you are doing is such a public service...at the end of the day we are all really the same, different shades and variations. when you get down to it. Videos like this do a fantastic job oh highlighting that! You are truly doing the Lord's my Dear...
😭Wow. What an amazing compliment. If that what these videos is bringing to even some who see them, that is, perhaps, the best part of this entire process. Thank YOU.
Iron Maiden was my favorite band through high school. Even today, if I had to point to one metal band and say 'that's how you do it', Maiden would be my choice. Thanks Momma, I've said it before, you ROCK!!!
Same them in the 80's and they were fantastic. 😎🤘
As flawless as ever, Momma! You’re definitely the best! ❤
This was definitely one of the best you’ve done, momma! Maiden is pure gold!
So hyped to see im in NC this November. Ty momma ☘️🇺🇲
Run to the Hills is Iron Maiden Gen🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔊🎵🎵🎵🎵🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔉🔉🔊🎤🎸🎸🎸🎸🥁💯🔉🔉🔉🔉🔉🔉🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
3am, can’t sleep, got WMOG to keep me company with another banger of a song. Ty. 🎧🎶🤘😎
Man, what a fantastic, hard driving and important song. I can't even call out individual members for what they bring in this one because every piece of it shines so much brighter as a whole than the separate pieces
Excellent work, as always.
42 years young and counting . Still a Banger and will always be a Banger . Up the IRON'S
The song that brought me to Iron Maiden back during the Satanic Panic days. Still one of my favorite songs. Still remember my black light The Trooper poster. Still have all the albums, the album artwork is something you don't get today. Can't count how many versions of Eddie I drew in school, and ended up in detention for a few of them. Thx for bringing back some good memories.
haha I remember those days, this was my introduction to the band... then I heard The Number of the Beast, and have to admit, it scared me a little at first. lol But I still loved the song and the band, a lot.
Well done👍🔥💯love your taste in music WMOG❤
Pretty perfect! This one was a good reminder of what good sound feel like! Thank you so much...=)
I'm a huge maiden fan. Thanks momma and company for making this reaction video. It brings a positive reaction that brings us all together.
And of course Iron Maiden is among heavy metals greatest bands.
Great song. Iron Maiden are an awesome band.
That was heavy metal when I was growing up.
You work VERY hard for not NEARLY enough credit! Wishing you and yours the best. Blessings!
Certainly if you pick an Iron Maiden song for a mashup this a great choice.
I love your videos, keep em coming, thanks!!!!!!
They were awesome in concert awesome song and album 🤘
As a Native American, I love this mash up. If you can, do Barry White. We're big fans here.
This song will get you a speeding ticket if you don't watch out!
Thanks pretty lady for sharing!
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Maiden were considered to be in the genre' of "the new wave of British Metal"
We all know the galloping drums garner the most attention. But Steve Smith on bass is so underrated in this song. I never thought I would use Steve Smith and underrated in the same sentence.
It's definitely about seeing the reaction to what this song is about for me when I see the comments. Then of course you've got Bruce's voice.
Fond memories of headbanging to this at the village youth club disco when it was released.
Saw these Guys in CHICAGO. It was at the Old Rosemont Horizon venue. 83. Maybe 84? Not really sure anymore. But the Encore that night had them Bringing the Groups CREEPY Mascot out on Stage. A 20' Armature of " EDDY " The Demonic Zombie on they're Album Covers. You haven't Truly Experienced IRON MAIDEN until you've seen them JAMMING, With EDDY Lumbering Around on Stage! 🤘
Great driving music!
Brian Dickinson doing vocal gymnastics against 6/8 time and grinding guitars…….🎸 oh yeah 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
@WonderMommaOG, phenomenal job on this, as usual! I absolutely loved that we got to see separate reactions for Bruce’s scream at the end- one of my all time faves(along with Ted Nugent on Motor City Madhouse from Double Live Gonzo and Mikael Ackerfeldt’s blood-curdling screams on Demon of the Fall). Thank you for putting these great videos together. As someone that listened to this music when it was released, I love seeing people hear it for the first time.
This song is really tight! The entire album is fire 🔥
I love the reactions…great tune! ❤
Such a great song and amazing blast from the past. The vocals, well all of it, is so ki!!er, love me a rock screamer. 🔥🤘Thanx darlin', Peace
I still remember the day I brought that record home 42 years ago. Good thing my neighbours were Maiden fans. (They named their kid Ozzy. Poor kid.) Still an all-star at every position. That record will stay with me till I die. (Which may not be as impressive as it sounds, but, there it is.) And love #DevinGibson's new hair. Thanks, #Momma!
These guys are still touring. If you get the chance go see them go for it. Always a great show and the fans are awesome too! Another great video thanks WM.
They are coming to Pittsburgh in November but the tickets are way too expensive!
@@WonderMommaOG Ahh that’s a shame, unusual as they usually try to keep their prices reasonable and only allow resale tickets to be sold at face value. Were the prices given direct from the venue or on a resale site?
Thanks WonderMomma! As always! 🤘❤️🤘❤️🤘❤️
Good job man! Don stop your work. Do it again with iron maiden trooper. I so glad
This song has more meaning than most hear
And singer flies Boeing 747 with the same ease as he sings this timeless masterpiece.
Masters at work. Drummer, bassist, both guitarists and of course vocalist ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Wonder Momma u rock ❤
Happy Memorial day Everyone! I've lost many loved one in war and during service! It's a mournful day for me😔😓
Just bought a new set of Bose headphones so now I'm going to have to watch all your videos again. I stopped driving the big truck early so I could get started. ❤
So glad yo see #Mollyboy!
This band put out some awesome hits in the 80s
Keep on rocking,
Love Maiden! Up the Irons 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
they are the fine wine of Metal
Inspired choice, WonderMomma! When I first discovered this absolute banger many years ago, I think I listened to it a minimum of ten times in a row, lol! And this may not be useful for a montage, probably, but just cool for you to check out sometime if you feel like it: Vin and Sori channel reacting to "Fairies Wear Boots," right? At about 6:45, Vin starts grooving to the outro, and it's so satisfying to us Old Schoolers how they freak as it dawns on them how much Sabbath influenced their beloved Korn, Metallica & Iron Maiden, LOL!
Great song and great job as always WonderMomma
Thats the way you do it Momma!!
You never miss... 👏
great work as always, Momma!!!
Oh, Momma!!!!! 😍🤘🔥🎸
the ending scream of Bruce Dickinson, always get mee!!!!! lml
I do have Native American blood in my background. My great, great grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee.
if you wanna introduce someone to Metal, here's the best choice possible
What is more Metal than invasion, conquest, and War.
that was badass
I'm Apache, and i really like iron maiden, thanks to upload this video,,, i request you please to upload Caught somewhere in time reaction ..multi or single reaction
Thank you again for another great one. One of my all time favorite bands. Up the Irons!!!!
And to think, back in the day I got grounded for listening to Iron Maiden.
Steve Harris is an absolute BEAST 🔥🔥🔥
I wish to all those who weren’t there, could have been. It was as you imagine and WAAY More! I would like to be the official Rock & Roll Time Machine tour guide to the old shows. Only the best would have made it out properly. You would have had a hard time with the status quo of the day.
I saw MAIDEN from the first tour on up!
UP THE IRONS \m/\m/
Another awesome one Momma, still in catchup mode. Been busy Toriing. And general stuff. Enjoyed this even though not a metal head. I noticed some of the reactors I know are looking, errrr, young. 😂 Do you have a fleet of Andrea True reactions? We want More More More…

Up The Irons 🤘
I reccomend Atanta Rhythm Section "So Into You"
So here I'm watching this and I can't help but think you should do a reaction video for a band called The iron maidens. It is an all-female iron maiden cover band and they are really really good. At least I think so
Thanks!
Up The Irons \m/
Boa noite, Momma. Tudo bem?
Obrigado pela música que mais gosto da minha segunda banda de cabeceira 😅
