Great video. Just a suggestion, I feel like you could turn your mic up a bit. Every time I watch one of your videos, I always have to crank up the volume compared to the others i have been watching.

I totally need to do this. I only use my dashboards for exception when automations didn't work as they should or when I need to do something different, but my current setup is a pain to use. Thanks Aaron!

One thing I have done is set the tiles background colours to transparent. That way, the background is also hidden, but when you load a theme, you will not see the (i.e) black tiles, but just the beautiful backdrop that comes with the theme.

Hello! I had a question; how did you get your notification bar on your pixel phone to be the same color as your dashboard. I have a light themed dashboard and the screen bar around my camera is just solid black. Thanks!

Question: how to add to open history graph when you click on Mushroom Template card? I want to open same history chart which is opened when you click on entity card. I goggled and I tried to find on RUclips but I failed. Is it possible and if it is, how? None of the options under "click action" did not work. Thanks.
What mod or theme are you using to hide the Views header?
Thanks for video for me to use the card-mod styles I needed to add card_mod like this. Not sure if this has been a change in the requirements since video or my setup. hopefully this helps others.

i didn't get it... how did you made these person icons? in one second u are in person card next second u r in horizontal stack how to make these butiful icons and cards for person? is it any other video some one knows? also i can see other ones has more info added like battery left wifi and so on...

With your help i could build my own dashboard.
unfortunately i have still a problem with my dashboard.
I have a dashboard displayed on an HD Fire Tablet using Fully Kiosk. When the dashboard is first loaded, it is displayed correctly.
However, when the page is refreshed, it no longer appears as it should.
The dashboard gets a zoom effect. the last column slides under the second column and only 2 column are shown.
Do you know this behavior.

I have seen this before.. I think you need to design your dashboard for the zoomed effect - I'm not sure why it does that
I am a bit confused - how do you authenticate against HA from your phone? do you fire up a phone browser and then log in directly? As there isn't ( AFAIK ) a per user default dashboard, how does your user get to this very cool UI?
You log in via the companion app. You can use 2FA as well.
You can set a default dashboard per user per device.
Aaron, What hardware do you use to run your HA? I looked in past videos but couldn't find it.
I use a Home Assistant Blue right now, but I also run a HA Yellow and a Raspberry Pi for testing
Can you do something like put your cell phone battery % on your person card?
Unfortunately the person card doesn't allow for templating, so you can't do that
Tutorial is very nice. My only ask is when doing the videos if you could show the entire code snippet and not just partials. Also clarity when your combining multiple cards. Example - took me minute to realize you were using a horizontal stack for the mushroom people card as you sort of just breezed over it. But overall very nicely done.
Thanks! That's good feedback - it's a toss up between my browser zoom % and text size. If I zoom too much, you can't see all the text, but people complained that the text was too small when I didn't haha. I'll watch for that in the next one to make sure it's all visible.

I think you can add the cards manually, but you need to get them from github directly. I don't really know the manual process. I don't think you can use hacs without a github account though

I installed HA on her phone, and created a Person entity in HA. Then I assigned her phone's entity in HA to her Person entity.
