    Thanks for the video.
I'd like to point out to anyone who needs to change their battery in this kind of watch, you don't have to take out the blue disc, with the battery, from the watch at all. You can use a paperclip or pin to unlatch the metal strip that holds the battery in position. It shows you on the little piece of paper that was held up to the camera.
You don't actually have to take the inner mechanisms out of the watch either. Just the battery itself. It's much simpler and it will also reduce the risk of dust/debris getting into the watch and on the inside of the face-plate.
Also, it can be helpful, before you take the outer back-plate off the watch, if you make a mental note of it's orientation, so you put it back on the same way, as it can be re-fitted in two ways.
Always a good idea to put a soft cloth on the surface before you start - it helps protect the face of the watch and also helps keep the watch in one place when removing the screws.
Finally, as an option, a very thin layer of silicone grease on the gasket (thin back ring) will help to make a good seal when the back of the watch is re-fitted (very small amount, just enough to give a shine to the gasket surface) and will also help to preserve the gasket itself. Take time to ensure the gasket sits in it's groove properly. Take your time.
Thanks again - a good learning video.

Okay, so how did you short the connections in order to get it working? The video was unclear since your hands and fingers were in the way.

Yes! There's two small contacts, you'll see them. I used two screwdrivers in the video, but anything metal will work, like tweezers, for example.

Be sure that you don't use cheap battery for your watch because it may go dead in a shorter time than a good replacement, use Duracell or energizer, these cheap batteries sold in bulk actually go dead soon and they are weak, don't skimp on the battery
