  • An outline agreement is a longer-term arrangement between a purchasing organization and a vendor regarding the supply of materials or the performance of services according to predefined conditions over a certain timeframe.
    A contract is an agreement with a vendor to supply a material or provide a service for a certain period of time.

    Perfect Explanation as all the time!!
    Could you make a video on the preferences for values populating in PO like which would be the priority, when we have maintained Master Data info records, contracts, Source List etc.

    Hi Santosh
    In your slide while explaining types of contract mentioned Quantity contract as WK and Value contract as MK. Its reversed here and should be Quantity contract as MK and Value contract as WK. please correct it. I observed one small correction.

    How would you handle an OA for Materials, witch prices might change weekly or monthly (like Fuel)? Do you change the Price at the PO level or you go back and update the OA? Please advise.

    1. is it purchase info record automatically created when we set the purchase contract? or is it created seperately?
    2. is it possible to create service contract by SAP?
