I was at the Hammersmith Apollo gig. A legendary night. Non stop 3 hours with none of the "Quo'd up" covers of old classics apart from their traditional concert stuff. Just non stop Piledriver rock. RIP Rick. Will never forget how nice you were when I bumped into you in a tiny, quiet bar in Spain, having your lunch.
This band has just kept giving. Even in its current format and the evolving formats since the early 80’s when John left. This is because Francis just can’t stop. Thanks Quo. And thanks Quo fans all around the world ❤
Was at the 1984 Crystal Palace gig. Rossi has been flogging a dead horse ever since with all the covers, xmas song and Beach Boys stuff. Their 1962-1984 catalogue stands the test of time. John Coghlan has now stopped touring his band due to ill health but I'll give Rossi his due, he ain't giving up.
IT was the end of ONE road. With Rick, the Legend went on....The Status Quo can't go for ever!?! For ever and ever, you mean... There's Something ',bout these Guys,I like!

Yeh. Alan had had enough of Francis as well as all the stuff that went on in court later. It was good to see them bury their differences when the frantic four regrouped a few years ago. Almost as interesting as watching “7 up”.
@@composedlight6850 No, John left the Band after he kicked his Drum Kit over in rehearsals for the 1982 album. John was on a Plane flying home before Rick and Francis realised that he'd gone. I think Alan knew John was gone. Rossi was needling and annoying everyone leading up to the demise of The Frantic Four. Rossi destroyed QUO!!!!
They "cameback" in 1986 because of the the record company demanding a new album. But here they state that they are committed to 3 albums beginning with one in late 1985. Hmmmm........... hindsight is a wonderful thing 😐
Maybe the album they were talking about, became "In The Army Now", and they couldn't record it when the record company wanted, because of the court case....
I think he (Rossi) was quite clear sighted there, according to Lancaster.... and when Parfitt tried to answer a question he got a knee or two from Alan and changed the answer..? No, that's not alright....
He actually did this on a couple of other interviews around that same time - some people reckoned it was all part and parcel of the friction and the bickering that eventually broke Quo. Lancaster was apparently the one who was relatively “clean”, Rossi and Parfitt were living a permanent party at that time
Alan was living a cleaner life in Australia. Rick & Fran we’re continuing down a dark hole. He didn’t want to be part of that. He may have still believed it was his band ?

they`re nice to each other - just on the surface!
Yes, and Alan (on top) tried to "lead it"...

Long live Quo!!! :)
Seems like yesterday I was watching this as a Quo fanatic.
End of the road was when John left
Yeah I thought that as well. Thanks for watching and commenting David
when he was told to leave by Francis

Status Quo always be 1..Arne kjellstrom..Norway🎸👍
I really don't hear from many viewers in Norway, so thanks for commenting
It's mad hearing them talk about 85 86 in to 87 😮

We are actually glad thati it come to that in 1985/86 and continous.... ;)

And if you took the coke away from Francis this never would have happened arrogant beyond contempt back then

a sad day 😢😢😢😢😢

Oof
The best thing is that Rick is wearing a t-shirt saying "true"
Very spinal!!!
(RiP Rick)
The thing is at the Milton Keynes bowl in 84 you said you weren't breaking up 😂
Funny to see rossi with nuff knowing he's stabbing him in the back
Thanks for watching and commenting
Rossi never realiased without Rick and Alan there wouldn't be no Quo
Everyone apart from Rossi is gutted to be ending. A sad watch tbh
And they are still touring today 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Who are ?,
Well . One of them is. Plus Andy Bown
Why was Lancaster on a higher level in the sofa than the other, and tried to steer Parfitts' answer..?
Thanks for being one of the few Quo fans to bother commenting, so few ever seem to do so.🙂
