Euro NCAP Crash Test of Skoda Fabia 2014

- Euro NCAP Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29 km/h into a rigid pole.

I can personally recommend this car is incredibly safe, it saved my life. My little Skodia Fabia 2015 took a side impact on the driver side from an articulated Truck traveling at 80kmph with a full load. Because of how this car is put together and it's airbag system I was able to (literally )walk away from the crash, later i found out I had with a minor sprained knee, no whiplash,fractures or breaks This car saved my life.

I've just bought a Fabia, I was involved in a very serious head on collision with a Volkswagen Golf being chased by the police in November, it hit me at over 70mph and I was travelling at about 20mph so the combined energy of the crash was incredibly high. Luckily my Kia Sportage stood up to the head on crash incredibly well, the front crumple zones took all of the damage and the car saved my life.
Sadly the Golf suffered very badly, the driver had to be cut out of his car and has suffered lifelong injuries. The police said the Sportage saved both our lives because it soaked up so much energy from the collision.
I was a bit scared to get the Fabia as it is a much smaller car but all I can afford and the 5 star ncap is reassuring but your own experience gives far more assurance. Glad you are well, keep safe friend.

Felipe Bay there is Xenon and led in the most expensive version (the 1 at pole) and there is just a normal bulb in cheapest version (Active)
@@Kayshots the cheapest trim is called Active and since the facelift the better lights are full led. But otherwise you are 100% correct.

Ján Szkok the point of car safety features is for the occupants not to DIE in a crash. They can’t guarantee you’ll come out scott-free, you know?

Very good test results and love this car but unfortunately Skoda India is at its worst. So no longer gonna buy Skoda.
