Did you hear that Toys-R-Us is going to be selling AG dolls starting this month (Sept.)? I think they're going to focus on the less expensive dolls like the Wellie-Wishers and Truly Me. It will be interesting to see if the stores end up selling the yearly AG dolls (including Josefina) and accessories. Maybe you could check out a store for us??? 🤔
I can check but I'm highly doubtful my store will get them

I been waiting for Melody to come out for a long time! I love that time period so much. Her character reminds me of the musical Hairspray. But I don't know if I'm going to get her. Her hair texture really bothers me. I haven't felt it in person, but it looks dry. Could someone comment on the hair quality for me? I'm very reluctant to get her for that reason. Thanks.
Just wanted to say your description of her as reminding you of "Hairspray" is perfect. I looked at her again and thought, "Yep, definitely "Hairspray"!!!

I did feel it and it feels kinda frizzy because it is textured. She is cute but I won't be adding her to my collection. Hope I helped! :)
Her hair may look "dry" because it is not silky straight to reflect light. Its textured and has a sheen instead. Not sure why that would bother you, it can still be styled without a problem.
The girl at 2:47 looks just like my cousin's daughter.... It might be her because they live right by the AG place. I'm slightly creeped out by it lol

I have barely touched my Josefina yet. But it's not because I don't love her. No.1 I only own her meet outfit and I'd really like to keep her historical... well at least part of the time. But more than that I am planning on putting color on her face. I know a lot of ladies have mentioned that they love her natural look when compared to the other dolls. But photogenically, I don't see it. The only time I have seen her look photogenic is when she's had some face paint applied. The problem is of the ones I've seen they've given her too dark of a color on her lips and too much blush. So my plan is to lightly enhance her look. Hopefully within the next 7 days or so. I can tell you really want her. Get her! Yes, I'm an enabler. :-)

you need to chill with the display doll crap. AG knows what they're doing when they're putting out their dolls. they're meant to be touched and held, or else they would of just put them in display cases like some others.
