- As the Nollywood and Nigerian entertainment industry are still in møurning state over the demise of popular Nollywood actor Johnpaul odunwodo aka Junior Pope and trying to accept that he’s truly gone after he was laid to rest on 17th of May 2024.
So many of his colleagues in the Nollywood industry, his family, friends and fans turned up for the funeral arraignment in Enugu state Nigeria.
Many of his colleagues payed last respect some noticeable actors and actresses such as ruby ejiojor, Sylvester, e money and kcee, Onyinye okafor, #ZubbyMichael Harry B, smith ochendu and so many others showed up for the ocassion.
What Nigerians and fans of Junior pope didn’t fail to notice is the fact that nollywood actor zubby micheal wore a red t shirt to Junior pope funeral and this has caused lots of mixed reaction

In my Country , Red is worn if the Person was murdered or died young .😢
I am just going to say what I saw during the funeral. In USA the men wear black nice suits well dressed and women will wear black appropriate dress just like you dress up to go to church. Some families might choose the traditional whites to wear but still well dressed and not looking tacky. It is very inappropriate for Zubby to wear a red "Reebok" made casual T-shirt and khaki pants (it is not even a plain design red cloth but rather a "Reebok" T-Shit) as if he is going to shopping and doing basic things. He disrespected his best friend by not even coming to his funeral services, lay in state or the actual burial rites and in fact here in America he would have been one of the people to carry his casket. Our Hollywood actors/actresses dress very professional when attending a well-known celebrity actor funeral such as JP. there is no way, you will see a Hollywood actor wearing to funeral a walk-out tight legging pants such as the one Destiny Etiko was wearing or the other female actor who was wear a night club mini dress which was inappropriate, disgusting and disrespectful. They actors also came to the church very late which was disrespectful and none of our Hollywood actors will do that. You will never see our Hollywood actors wearing a "casual face cap" or jeans pants during a funeral of their own fellow actor. They should know that the entire world was watching his funeral especially a lot of foreigners since he was loved by the entire world especially in America here. He doesn't deserve his fellow actors to disrespect his funeral like that. Rest In Peace JP. Gone too soon, the world will miss you. Thank you for entertaining the world with your great talent.

In my country when you wear red to a funeral! That means you the one that murdered the person or red mean that you happy that the person died.

Why people are on the back of Zubby is beyond me. Red and Black clothes signify mourning and sadness from where I come from and worn to funerals unless the bereaved family specifically wants a specific color for the occasion. Harry B was there wearing green clothing and I did not see any hell raised against him. Please leave Zubby alone. Jnr Pope was one of my favorite actors and I am going to miss him. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord JohnPaul. You surely going to be missed. To the family remember God is in control, and it shall be well. We have gained an ANGEL.
