one of the best things about playing a rock instrument (while singing rock) is that their passion is entirely visible when they play. It's why I prefer these kind of performances rather than just cute dancing...(but of course i still love mah cute dancers though x) )

because they do! they're the back bone of the band. their playing decides the groove of the song and they also dictate the rhythm basically.
