Great video. Just had one of these delivered yesterday. Never owned a compressor before, although have borroed one in the past. I ended up here as couldn't see how to connect the airline to the compressor. Turns out I just wasn't pushing hard enough. This video certainly helped. I brought it also to seal the bead of a tyres. Car been sat on axle stands for 5 years, need to get them inflated to move it to the other side of the garage.
Apart from the two outlets which are slightly different, this looks EXACTLY the same as a 24L Airmaster I bought from Machine Mart. They're probably all made in the same factory and just branded up with different logos as you suggested. I use mine mainly for the same reason as you when changing bike tyres. As for drying the bike after washing I use a pet dryer which delivers far more air and even has a hot air setting if required.
Great video, that fella. I never even thought of utilising the blower on my mucky honda.. And the fact that it's quick enough to seal the tyres is reassuring. Good, blow and refill timing too. And I've told the misses SHE can paint the garden fence with it and all . Well done, good job.
Thanks for the review, I did look at the SGS, but went with a SIP 25litre oil-free silent compressor. Still awaiting delivery, but it will be good to compare🤞🤞
I used to have one of these for odd jobs, absolutely brilliant little thing! Only thing is, is it's extremely loud for an oiled compressor! Little bit of a better design for the inlet filter would be awesome!
Hi I'm considering buying one like yours. Did you ever feel the 24L tank is too small? I'm thinking of the 24 or 50L as the price difference is minimal. The 24L is much smaller which is a good thing for me as I don't have much space. Thanks.
That was pretty much the same reason i got a 24l one, the size of it meant it fit perfectly in my garage, has enough power for what i need, i would only consider a 50l if i was going to get a blasting cabinet.
Decent video! Do you feel the air tank is big enough for when you are blowing out the water from the motorbike? Obviously the compressor cuts back in when the pressure drops so does it maintain good air blowing pressure to complete the job?
@@billy4rocks thanks for the quickly reply. No it's not open its fully closed. The correct amount of oil is also in the machine it buzzes when it turns on then nothing
@@billy4rocks thank you bud, and yes I had bought it direct from SGS. I have been in contact with them however they have asked for me to email them photos and videos. Considering I've had it less than 5 hours I would have expected them to have replaced it asap.
@@billy4rocks thanks for the reply. Have to say though it it a brilliant bit of kit for my needs. I’d definitely recommend it. 50l size would have been too big and I just haven’t got the space for it. Best wishes.
Hi mate, good review. Im thinking of using this for my mobile detailing business, would you say it would be good enough for that? Main purpose would just be to blast dirt, hairs etc out of the carpets and other nooks and crannies I would get the 50l one but it’s a bit too large.
Cheers, yeah i reckon with the more concentrated nozzle it comes with it would be up to the job of doing that. It blasts out brake dust and muck from off my bike no problem, so shouldn’t be an issue.

Fantastic, informative video. Thanks. And your voice reminds me of Bradley Walsh. 👍🏼😀👍🏼
No problem, thanks very much. Im gonna have to google who that is 😂😂
..ohh that geezer!!
Good clear review Billy👍
Cheers mate.
Just ordered one of these based on the ability to bead a tyre. Thanks Billy4rocks great video.
Yeah dude, no problem.
Just upgraded my compressor to a big 2.5hp 90l one, but l have one just like the one you have from Biltema from 1994☕🇳🇴
90l! That’s a whopper.
@@billy4rocks lts been very solid..

Looks ideal. If only I had power at the garage.
My garage had some well dodgy wiring that was connected via a cable running up the garden connected to the bathroom light. 😂😳
Hi,
How can I set the pressure required for specific tool?
As example I need 90psi to run
Thanks
Never changed the psi on mine, i assume ita the adjustable nob at the front, check your manual, or download the pdf from the website.

Hello Mark, yeah its ideal for that, it’s pretty noisy in my garage when its running but yeah, does the job well, plenty powerful enough for that.
@@billy4rocks That's good to know, thanks for that 👍🏻
@@markkirby2930 yeah dude, no problem.
Do you know if there is a rest button on the machine? I've just purchased one and I've only used it once an fit does not refill
Is your drain screw open at the bottom?

I’ve got the same compressor and the kit. Have you used the sprayer yet? Would love to give it a go but haven’t had a chance yet.
No I haven’t yet, but likewise would like to give it a try.

@@almusti ohh absolutely, i use it for jobs that i never initially intended it for, its a permanent part of the garage now.
Will this be good enough to respray on the bonnet, top roof and on the wing or I will need a 50l air compressor??
Well it does come with a paint gun, wether its up to that particular job I couldn’t tell you.
I just got a new one done all what it says. First turn on it trips won’t run ?
Not sure, but at a quick glance there are lots of videos on RUclips with issues the same as yours, you might find an answer there.

Bloody loads…. I would hazard a guess at 25kg.
Just what a review should involve testing , ta muchly

Thank you for the video. Shall I go for this one or parker brand?
I couldn’t tell you for sure, never tried parker. But im perfectly happy with this one.

SGS makes these compressors, they are an engineering company.
made in china rebranded
good video

You're better off getting the 50 L it's not much more expensive.
Absolutely, If you have the space for it.
