Your absolutely correct I use chiefs playbook this is my first Madden so thanks to show the options my buddy calls that p.a boot the cowboy killer, didn't know I could use the TE to block since I have waller and the guy from the rams both 6'5 over 245 and the slant TE to the left I'll start every game with a PA boot so my defender will give me space next play then always run the second play by that time I'm within the 49 yard line enjoy life always
You should put this play in you playbook a 1 TD play that destroys cover 4 defense. Go to Verticals and put the left outside reciever on a slant and the right outside reciever on a streak, look for the right outside reciever. He will be wide open.

Personally I always slide toward the rollout side before blocking the TE, I haven't been using double teaming but I think Civil goes over that in his ebook on his website
Hey man! My advice would be to try to get your feet set when possible, or if you have to throw on the run, try to let go of the sprint button right before you throw it
If he likes to roll out and you know you have not been getting there... set ur ends on a cover flat or even a man spy??? If your not getting there drop in to coverage.. been doing the roll out since 2011. I dont compete but its kinda give and take. Good content

@@HeLoveHerm Sort of! The smart route is based on the first down line, so if you have say 2nd & 2, smart routing the post will make it much shorter, while on 2nd & 20 it'll make it much longer. Smart routing a post on say 2nd & 10 will only change it a little bit since the break is already pretty close to 10 yards deep

The post it gives them depends on their position on the field. If it’s a compressed set and they are inside, it’s going to be a skinny post/slant type route. You can also motion them out, put them on a deep post, and motion them back in if you want to. The post will stay a deep post. Say, a formation like strong close, etc. Think, “deep” outside receiver, “deep” post. Hope that helps. I believe that’s what you’re looking for.

You have to user the post route to shut that play down. even then it doesn’t always work

I understand where you're coming from, but you have to realize that metas develop in every video game and every sport. Are advanced analytics in real life sports "toxic" because everyone is using the same mathematical models to evaluate players instead of "learning to scout players on their own"? You can choose not to use them, but you put yourself at a competitive disadvantage. My best recommendation if you want a non-meta experience is to join a simulation CFM, they usually have pretty strict rules about play/formation cooldowns and that might give you the experience you're looking for. But for the massive group of people that wants to play the game in a competitive setting online, it makes sense that they'll want to know the best tactics available.

Personally I always slide toward the rollout side before blocking the TE, I haven't been using double teaming but I think Civil goes over that in his ebook on his website

Triple slant is a broken play specialty if you use the Bucs trolling and exploring broken mechanics
You would need double QB spies which Madden doesn't have in the playbooks anymore but you could manually set one and choose QB spy deep 4.
