Thanks man. Here's to hoping this vid helps you or someone else who's going to do this upgrade. Finally getting close to finishing the bike's overall look.
that's awesome. I like the way you do up your bike cos I wanna get the rizoma foot sets as well to give it a cleaner look. I wonder what else you're gonna do to your bike, its been done in good taste.
thank you for taking time to make this upgrade. also thank you for providing a live shot of the bike running after install. a few other people made a similar video but failed to include the "money shot" . why have a clear mechanical cover if youre not going to oogle the damn thing running. thanks again and Great job on the install and video.
Never that. I love this bike and it's a total keeper. I mod it to suit my style and become an extension of my personality. I can assure you, its going to be ridden as much as possible. :) Always appreciate you watching.
Top video mate, these clear panels on engines always look bloody fantastic. I just installed a similar part on my Harley after a case of love at first sight with the parts
HI does the oil makes the transparent circular window dirt after the first use so you cannot see the clutch any more? Or after the engine shut off became clear again? Thanks.

How long after an install should OIL still show up on the inside og the clear cover? I see oil dissipate after a few miles of riding but that fact that its does this bothers me. Do you think something wasn't installed correctly? Have you seen this sort of thing before after an install? Any and all thoughts are welcomed.

Aye so I have a 2013 Monster 796 and I'm about to install the same part next week. Should I replace the clutch plates all together? The bike has 11k miles on it. Two previous owners. I don't think they were the best owners but I know that clutch plates take a while to go out. People have suggested I keep the same ones now...
McKersin Previlus Is highly recommend replacing the clutch plates while you’re installing the new Ducabike clutch cover. Specially if the previous owners didn’t maintain the bike well.
CLUTCH1st aye thank you for the speedy reply! I just received my new plates and springs. I have a few questions though :-( Did you bathe the springs in the same synthetic oil as the engine oil? How long did you wait before riding the bike and why did you turn off the oil sensor. I don't see that in my workshop manual. Is that specifically for your bike?
McKersin Previlus I did not bathe the springs only my plates overnight. Some people do it and some doesn’t. It’s up to you. Also, I left my bike sitting overnight so the liquid gasket can cure. It’s not a must but I’d recommend it. 5hrs tops

Clutch First NY the last steel plate didn’t seat properly! Thanks you! :) The process did not take long at all and fairly straight forward. The most time consuming part of the install was removing and reinstalling the clutch pin and bearings. I think its because I didn't have the proper tool for that specific task. Roughly 4-5 hours and I left the bike sitting overnight to allow the liquid gasket to set and cure.

Hey Mike PLEASE HELP ME I'm about to buy a second hand 796 just like yours around the 9K~15K miles. 2011 and up probably Since you now the bike like no one else, what are the seller's tricks gonna be for this particular model? 1/Are there common issues that you know you'd look out for? Common things they're gonna try to hide, little glitches and signs of bad maintenance, from your experience with the 796 2/Anything that started to happen to you from 10K miles and up? Should i worry about not buying new And keep up the hustle man!! I dont comment much but i watch every video and have been subscribed since below 1k subs. You're a legend, and inspired me for the 796, i hope i'll get to ride with the group one day. Peace
A few things you need to know and look out for before making your decision. Make sure all major maintenance was done by an authorized dealer so you can see the records. Frame bent, fork bent and frame cracks is an automatic DO NOT buy. Ask the original owner for the vin number so you can check for any accident records. As long the engine was well maintained and oil changed regularly, the Duc should run absolutely fine. Of course check the chain, sprockets, front and rear brakes. When you go and see the bike make sure it's been sitting/cold for awhile and wasn't running recently to see how well it starts up. Let it idle for 15 min or so then test ride if it's permitted for another 15 to see if there are any leaks. I'd also recommend checking the oil cooler and engine casing for any dings or cracks. Another way of finding out if the bike was crashed and put back together is to check the steering and see if the left and right steering stoppers has been bent. These are just all general information. I would recommend having a certified motorcycle mechanic go check the bike with you. Oh yeah, don't forget to ask the seller if the belts were ever changed. also, have the swing arm maintenance been done yet? Thank you for being part of the channel and I appreciate you watching.

jack maalouf From what you’re explaining it sounds like one or two of your clutch plates are broken. Maybe the original owner practice a lot of wheelies or maybe work the clutch a lot at low gears. You can always take it apart and see if that’s the case.

1/Are there common issues that you know you'd look out for? Common things they're gonna try to hide, little glitches and signs of bad maintenance, from your experience with the 796
2/Anything that started to happen to you from 10K miles and up? Should i worry about not buying new
And keep up the hustle man!!
Thank you for being part of the channel and I appreciate you watching.
dude thats so sick. i wonder if they make a kit for my r1 #DUKABIKE

Excellent tutorial!!! #ducabike 👌💦
+The Midway Monster So far one of my favorite upgrades. 😬 Stopping at a stop light hasn't been the same. Also, now it's super simple to swap clutch plates.
CLUTCH1st VLOGS absolutely! Very straightforward and beautiful upgrade. Haven't been able to take the financial plunge tho. Maybe if I was on a 796 or 1100 I could justify it. It's 1/6th the value of my bike! But superb regardless. Nice work 👊

I would really appriciate ur help
jack maalouf From what you’re explaining it sounds like one or two of your clutch plates are broken. Maybe the original owner practice a lot of wheelies or maybe work the clutch a lot at low gears. You can always take it apart and see if that’s the case.
CLUTCH1st hello again ... yes its the clutch plates ... i checked them i need a new clutch plates ... do u recomend i buy them from ebay ?! Do u have a trusted source ?! Thank u again for the help ❤❤❤
I'd recommend buying them at www.motovationusa.com use coupon code 'clutch1st'. That's my trusted source for anything motorcycle related. Or you can give them a call (512.697.9672) and let them know you're going from the Clutch1st channel.
