I have a Billbergia clump ( name Limestone) I've had 4 years. I've noticed the pups grow to the size of the original but they don't form the tight tube, more open like a duck's bill. Is it something I'm not doing right? I'm in Arizona so they get hot, but don't get the kind of rain they would in Florida. I bring them indoors in the winter.

Hello..no not at all some are more open vase shape and not tight tube forms..if however they are not getting enough sun they can grow longer and not so tight. If they have good colour its most likely just a different form.
