this game seems like what i would imagine a regimental level commander type game would look like, none of that Company of hero's health bar bullshit, you get shot, you die...that simple....sure there is still a health bar in this game, but it's almost meaningless from the looks of it. IDK maybe ill pick this game up on sale or something.
The health bar is real, but there is proper Armor Pen mechanics in the game, some guns like the T-34/57 can pen better than the 76mm T-34, but does less damage. So if the normal T-34 can pen it, it does more damage than if the T-34/57 could pen. A lot of guns like the Tigers and IS can usually pen and deal enough damage for an instant kill. Also compared to COH, infantry die super quickly.

yes, it's a different gameplay. i haven't really understood it either^^ my units are dying all the time :/
