This seems to be a modded Fire Giant, he doesn't normally have that red mist surrounding him when he does the fire attack. The red mist is what's damaging Malenia and causing her to stagger every frame, same thing happened with Rick.
This does remind me of an idea that I had. Imagine all of the Souls NPCs, from Demon's Souls and all the way to Elden Ring and Lords of the Fallen, defending the villagers in the Attack on Titan. With all the Souls NPCs (Bosses, normal NPCs and giant NPCs included) fighting against all the normal Titans. Specifically, the ones that are basically like zombies and are creepy as hell and psychologically horrific. The reason I find them psychologically horrific and creepy, is because they look non-menacing and instead have these goofy runs and wacky facial expressions that never change and go around eating people. In my personal opinion, they belong in the Silent Hill universe.

I feel like that Fire Giant was just hand-crafted to cheese Melania. It didn't even seem like an organic fight. More like a kid with a broken modded fighter spamming the same moves over and over. But I'm confused why her second last Scarlet Aeonia was canceled (38:32). Had she gotten it off, he would've died, but it got stopped despite being uninterruptable (aside form her dying). Either way, it's hard to look at that titan as "strong". Just abusing high mobility and stunlock.
He was actually crafted to keep the only animations that made sense to keep without having his big plate thingy. That's why he was repeating some over and over
Malenia scarlet anonia got cancelled probably due to the hill, Elden Ring enemies usually get their animations cancelled when they are not on a flat surface. Idk im bad at at explaining but it is like that in this game

Should have spaced the giants out from each other because Godfreys run was cheap. His attacks allowed him to do damage to enemies that was unable to fight back because it wasn't their turn. Therefore when they was allowed to fight back they were already low on health. Didn't expect him to lose though. I forgot about the fire giant. Also this run is a bit too much due to a full health fire giant that can beat probably most of these bosses on his own 😂. Even if the fire giant doesn't spam his roll attack he still gives malenia trouble. She may have made it if you hadn't removed her first phase. She needed both for this. When I saw the fire giant at the end of the lineup I figured no one would make it.

I decided to start her off in phase 2 after seeing that she recovered 8 and I mean 8 full health bars over 18 minutes without even going into 2nd phase during the 1st recording. I didn't think she'd lose in 2nd form
