@@ruesxn one option would be to start by thinking about where jealously originates in this story. I would suggest that it begins with Iago. He is jealous of Othello because of his status as a military leader and because he is attractive to Desdemona. He is also jealous because he thinks Othello has slept with his wife. But what Iago is able to do is to then evoke jealousy in others and use it to gain power over them. Firstly he makes Roderigo jealous of Othello for marrying Desdemona. Then he makes Othello jealous of Cassio by playing on Othello’s feelings of inadequacy because he is an outsider, whereas Cassio comes from the ruling elite. I hope that helps.

That's an interesting question. I think it's definitely true that Shakespeare's style evolves as he ages, and you can see evidence of this in the verse patterns and the images he uses. Books that you could read about this (although quite old books now) include ones on imagery by Caroilne Spurgeon (Shakespeare's Imagery)and by Miriam Joseph (Shakespeare's Use of the Arts of Language). You could also look at George Wright's book on metre (Shakespeare's Metrical Art,) which lays out in great detail how the verse is structured and how it changes over time. Hope that is helpful.
