We loved Sofia and Plodiv but haven’t heard much about Bansko. We’ll have to watch the Pros video next.😅

We have a few Bansko Videos on the channel you can check out. We love Sofia as well. Plovdiv is still on our list, so hopefully next time.

Merci. That's a bummer about the 90/180 rule being applied to Bansko because they're now in the Schengen Area. More and more, Albania seems to be the sweet spot for all things needed for slow travelers. Ciao (Chau) :)

Yeah it is a bummer. You right, Albania is a great option for many slow travelers especially U.S. passport holders.

Currently in Bansko. Yes, the taxi rates are insane for where you are going, compared to metered rates in other areas of the country like Sophia. It was 11 LEV to go about 1.5 km's. In Sophia, it would be about 4 LEV. Nice enough place so far, still very quiet.

Yeah, the taxi rates there are a little crazy, even the locals complain! It gets quite in the fall until ski season ramps up. Glad you're enjoying Bansko so far!

@@TheWanderingHartz yeah this is a great time to be here, except that it is freezing cold and night and in the morning. Not exactly a ski town in my mind, apparently the actual city part rarely gets snow, only the mountain. Seems a bit strange.

@@JayandSarah From what we're told by our friends that live in Bansko most of the snow comes in January and February. We need to visit during ski season to see what it's like! 😄
