    thats a nice workable difference, I like to raise that corner slightly so its a little over 90degrees and spreads the hammering face a little more like a nail but that may be me going too far, sometimes it looks a little clunky and heavy. I will try it with slightly less of more of an angle to bring it nearer straight and see how I like it, Yours looks good and the bit on those tongs is a great idea

    Wow! Great quickstart on that coal forge! In my neighbourhood I can't get away with coal. Propane and lump charcoal I can use.

      Did that for years the only reason I'm using a torch is because my shop is. too small to have combustibles laying around.
