The house and garden is looking fabulous, Freya. It’a amazing how far it has come from when you bought it. I love a poetry book too and suspect the reference to Betjeman is to John Betjeman, who was a very famous poet too. He also wrote about architecture and did some hybrid tv shows that incorporated all his interests. Apologies for the dissertation on Betjeman, It was just so lovely to hear him mentioned 🥰
Really nice to see how your garden is taking shape, it's bigger than I thought, I have gravel so be careful having light gravel as it does darken also stones can get caught underneath trainers. I buy my clothes from Tesco, always a great fit. They don't have changing rooms now though. I love the shorts and jacket look but wouldn't buy myself. Really liked the Zara deesses and your bureau. It is so nice to restore old pieces xx

Hi Freya, loving your channel 🙂 the gravel looks lovely but if you intend to walk on the gravel, 10mm gravel tends to get stuck in the treads of trainers/shoes/tyres. 14mm would be the ideal size, if you can't get 14mm then the 20mm would be the better one to have. Hi Freya. The youtuber Rosie Henshaw does a lot of upcycling & her tip she always uses to get wood back to it's original state is oven cleaner. I thought it was an odd thing to use but the results are amazing. Might be worth a watch so you can see what she does. Betjeman is The John Betjeman an english poet & author. I remember studying about him at school. Xx

The garden is going to be amazing. I would just say though as you mentioned taking the gravel onto the drive that as I person that has neighbours either side of me which both have gravel drives, I find them the most annoying thing! I would never have 1 myself. They're so noisy, we hear every coming and going, every delivery, every visitor. Constantly getting woken up by them going out early. Bits of gravel end up all over the road...really SO annoying! 🤪
we're having a grid in place to avoid it moving and yes loud so we have been advised it's good for security as it's a deterrent for thefts too!
Great blog , a little tip for you always put a 2p piece in tulips it helps to keep them upright for longer especially when it’s warm x

Got to say 20mm gravel is better for large garden areas, surprised the gardener did not mention this. Easier too for large dogs to walk on. You may ae a cat toilet situation using small gravel.

That last dress Freya you looked outrageously gorgeous you have a beautiful figure..i also liked the blazer and short set to me the shorts looked a nice length on you x can I just say as you get older you just don't care as much as you did when you were younger you'll see just wait x my husbands a good cook especially beans on toast with a slight hint of burnt stuck to the pan flavour haha Tom's cooking look amazing about time you invited us all to dinner I say haha you take care lovely kisses to Mr B x

neither of us are the most handy! and needed proper wall plug etc for heavy ones.
It’s quite ridiculous how so much of the veg and fruit in the U.K. are sold in plastic containers! Not environmentally friendly at all. Aren’t there any open air street markets around? Charity shop finds are so much more exciting and unique than all the standard store soft furnishings etc ,can make a home look so much more individual and interesting and above all, far cheaper with the money going towards a worthwhile cause. The monochrome linen suit with the trousers and skirt and one shoulder dress were nice but the striped set looked like pyjamas.
there are some! we went to one this week actually and I definitely notice the difference, feel far less guilty!
