max0r actually addressed some of the "complaints" about the slowed down editing style, and assured everybody that, for games that are longer, he would be doing slower, more cinematic edits, but would not be abandoning his traditional fast editing style for other projects.
I don't know if I'd call Rellana Mesmers girlfriend. While devoted to Mesmer, and staying in the Land of Shadows for him, he seemed to have spurned her company despite her longing. Fun music fact! Good chunk of the songs used in Max0r's video was Arknights music! We recently had an event that brought a closure to Act 2 of the game and we hired Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring composer, Yuka Kitamura! There's 7 to 9 Arknights songs used in this video. While he does use a lot of Xenoblade, he also uses Arknights music often! The first song, during Leda's speech as you touch Miquiella's arm, and Relanna's boss theme are all examples of Arknights music! As well as Leda's speech of Scadu Altus and the final song!

Rellana’s relationship with Messmer reads more to me as familial than romantic. That’s her sister’s ex-husband’s son. One clearly rejected by his own mother/father and sent on an endless crusade for the sake of their vengeance, so who better to pick up their slack as family than the woman who should have been his aunt.

DLC shouldn't be included in game of the year, but as long as it IS being allowed, Shadow of the Erdtree beats the absolute breaks off of everything else that came out this year.

To be fair, Shadow of the Erdtree getting nominated makes sense, at least. That shit is not your grandpa's DLC. They may as well have just made a completely new game and slapped it onto a preexisting game. A DLC that takes 40 to 50 hours OR MORE for me to beat is NOT a normal DLC, and should not be trated like one. That is genuinely a full, brand new game masquerading as a DLC.
Miyazaki was a fucking madlad already, but apparently George R. R. Martin gave him the motivation needed to crank that shit up to 20.
Whole new map, new enemies, new bosses, new weapons, new mechanics, new characters, new story, and about 487 new flavored cans of whoop ass for the game to lay down on ya, even AFTER a few rounds of NG+, AND all of it runs damn near perfectly...
What kind of drug did Martin put Miyazaki on, and where can I get some? I need that level of motivation in my life, dawg. 😂

Is it just me or have these last couple Max0r videos been less, brain rot visual mess? Dare I say they feel slow? Not nearly the overwhelming editing they once were.
i believe Max0r himself stated on X that he was trying to do something more epic and serious 🤔
and also something about always seeking a new ways(formats?) to not stagnate as an artist(but don't quote me on this one)
His ER are less brainrot but his incorrect reviews of other games are still keeping up

I personally don't see any actual issue with a DLC winning GotY. Most of the arguments I saw against it can apply to sequels or even games from the same franchise.

@@Angrenost02 i would say, it is a technicality: DLC you cannot install and play by itself(unlike, for example addon, which now seems to be long forgotten practice), so it is not an independent game, but a part of another, no matter how good it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
