This post is for the newer KoRn fans, you guys are still awesome too :). KoRn is to be shared across generations! xD I will rock BBK out in my nursing home when i'm 70!
Gotta love how you guys don't see the unique playing Head does. His weird harmonics, use of whammy pedal and reverse chords. And of course their insanely heavy tone.
Les Claypool from Primus likes the bass playing on this track. When Korn played with Primus this song got Les's attention and he came up to the stage to watch them.
I miss this ish.. I was 12 going on 13 when i first heard this back in like 98'. LOL so much energy as a kid back then! The music industry was fantastic in all genre's throughout the 90's. Has anyone noticed that if any of the band member's left it would be without that same great sound? I mean Jon's Scatting makes the vocals special, you can actually hear Fieldy's bass, and Munky and Head's guitar sound combined is just legendary.
@@SebP85that is true, it sucks that David was apparently the one being a shitty person in the band...if they didn't have problems between their members I wonder how their sound would have turned out over time
This album is an amazing one. Lots of people on here don't like this one. Issues was pretty good too. The first four albums are just mind blowing. Jon is full of anger and the band really brings out that dark sound in this album and previous. Hope the new album gets back to basic sound
2019 and I still can remember jamming this album NON-STOP when it dropped back in the day!! BBK is easily the most underrated song on Follow The Leader!! I can't get enough of this song!! Korn for life! Peace!!
No it's B.B.K. No I meant to say B.B.K. Dammit, why can't I say anything but B.B.K.?!? But tbh, my fav from the album has to be dead bodies everywhere cause of the sick riff and screams from 3/4ths through the song
I remember bumping this back in '02 or '03 11 or 12 years old korn still speaks volumes to me and even though i havent really checked their new shit i still love korn, one of the greatest bands ever conceived
Yo as much shit as nu metal gets in the metal community, and as cringey as the general image of pretty much every nu metal band is, it was a super experimental genre and, especially korn, brought metal to all new horizons. To think that this evolved from the groove metal bands like pantera and sepultura only 5 years beforehand which then in turn eveolved from death and trash/speed metal of the 80s...damn i fucking love music man
Korn used to be my favorite band back in highschool (1999 and on) but i haven't listened to them since. Tastes changed and I listened to Radiohead and branched out. I searched youtube for Korn expecting some of their new stuff on here and got this. I definitely remember listening to this song from their album. Anyways it's not bad.
Jesse Siemens He had a kid, Head is the one that turned into a prick and attacked Korn after all the DVDs of him doing the same shit they were all doing
they all have kids dude, head made amends you obviously never saw the video of david talking mad shit on the whole band i bet he was just as bad into drugs n shit as they were, they a fucking band they spend a lot of time together of course they're gonna collide

+Darkwing im a fairly new korn and even i know who david is. whether youre into korn or not you should know who he is. he's a phenomenal drummer!
+IKSoSE:3 agreed. and super proud of you, most new fans should be like you.
Just a side note, Jack and Coke sucks lol
B Silkwood
For some odd reason I thought it meant big black korn or someother shit with Korn in 😂
fieldys slap bass and jonathans scat this is one of my favorite songs by them
there would be no KoRn without Fieldy
True, the reason why Korn is so unique is because of Fieldy's slap bass and Jonathan's scatting
...uh seven string guitars, duh
Gotta love how you guys don't see the unique playing Head does. His weird harmonics, use of whammy pedal and reverse chords. And of course their insanely heavy tone.
@@peggyemery2379 lol wtf
2:40-3:14...The Scatting is fucking sick.
+Nick Paternostro its fucking fantastic. It's pitch shifted up and down but sounds great.
@emptyglass7867 lol its definitely got a pitch shifter effect on this song but yes Johns scatting is naturally great.
3:05 flow
This album rocks my car's subs. Been blasting this since 1999 and it still holds up all the same today
This song is still one of favorite Korn songs.
The bass and drums are freaking ridiculous.
Guitar tone is perfect also.
Love it!👍
And it has his scatting
That beat drop at 2:23 is heavy as fuck.
The riff, guitar tones and various fx on this pretty much sum up why I love Nu-Metal

Absolutely the sickest song on this record!! That slapping bass is awesome. Korn is the shit always has been always will be!!
I always fucking loved that brief scat/gibberish sound Jon makes at 0:48
2:40 best gibberish breakdown!
Its either this one or the one in seed
2:06 is where things start to go bananas
2:23 FUCKING LOVE THIS BREAKDOWN
korn is the most inovative and original-authentic metal band of all times!!
I found them when I was 13 years old. I'm now 42 and they are still my go-to "mood music"
The riff that starts at 2:24 sounds like "nick nack paddy wack, give a dog a bone" riff from Shoots and ladders.
Naw, that riff from Shoots and Ladders souded like a Subaru WRX exhaust
"every time I reach for love it's taken away" literally just died...
