China movie from China is still not yet well directed , not well produced , not well scripted. Hollywood learned more from Hong Kong movie than China movie.. It is just so confusing that people allow movie from China to take the credit of good Hong Kong movie’s contribution to the movie industry.
Given what's happened with China taking back HK, is it really that surprising? I think most people separate the two even if China wants to say it's all the same.
